Click Here ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Apr 2002 17:39:53 +0000 From: "now and zen girl" Subject: [EDA] my ticket buying experience story... if your bored enough to read it... well, im bored so i would like to share my ticket buying experience with everyone. a few weeks ago before the santa rosa tickets went on sale to the public there was a radio station pre-sale thing. what would happen is that right when the member pre-sale would end this radio pre-sale would begin, it lasted 2 hours. this is why there was like no seats left by the time the public was able to buy tickets, if you were wondering. anyway... my friend who lives in santa rosa listens to this radio station that was doing the pre-sale. so she picked up the passes that were necessary for the pre-sale. so i went down to santa rosa, an hour from where i live, and i stayed with my friend for the night. in the morning she had to be at work at noon, the tickets didnt go on sale till 6... i said i wouldnt mind sitting around for 6 hours, well it sure payed off in the end! i was so early i was there when they were setting up for journey that weekend, it was really neat to see that. anyway, i was there for like 2 hours walking around. then i came accross this girl that was sitting by the front desk. i asked her if she was in line for the jewel tickets, she said yes, so i said "well im getting in line then!" so i pulled up a chair. we sat talking for about an hour when to other ladies showed up. it was about 3 now. so we sat and talked about jewel and bonded with eachother for about 3 hours. at about 5 other people started showing up, but they werent bonding like we had hahahaha. we had so long to talk to eachother that we planned out exaclty what seats we wanted and everything! we even planned it to go to the same night hahaha and we are!!! by the end of the who experience they had named me most dedicated jewel fan theyve ever met!!!! hahah it was GREAT! then some radio dj, from the fox radio station, was there to interview journey. but he got distracted by us jewel fans out front. and he began to talk to me and the 3 other ladies i was waiting with. there were other people, but we were the most interesting, and loudest... we were getting pretty excited... id been there for almost 6 hours now!! hahahah so he was talking to us about how he liked jewel and thought she was so awsome... i think he has met her before. but he said "jewel is awesome... you just know someone is great when they can sleep with sean penn, do a video with him, then dump him and make an entirely new video!! i think jewels GREAT!!" oh my god, i was laughing so hard i almost peed!!! and some other great things happend, and i was the first to get tickets, and it was great and i got really good seats, and im gonna meet jewel there and ummmmmm yeah it was cool!! just thought id share for those of you bored enough to read this hahahhha later alisa - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: Click Here ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Apr 2002 13:18:08 -0500 From: Emily S Tate Subject: [EDA] vote for break me!!
