Hey Guys Well...... this is very bizarre. I know I just posted that article... but I don't think that article originated from Yahoo at all. First of all - the URL. It's INCREDIBLY long.. and if you'll notice at the very end there's this address: http://213.186.33.4/~prixmate/jeweltmp/news.html ... which is the same article. That's not a Yahoo! address.... Then check out the jeweltmp directory (http://213.186.33.4/~prixmate/jeweltmp/)... there's only TWO items in it... plus the word Jewel clearly tips that this was created for something to do with Jewel. And check out the picture - it looks EXTREMELY fake.... plus they say Ty was wearing a suit.. and there he's just wearing a shirt. Plus, if you go to the news site and try to click any of the other links, none of them work. Then go to Yahoo.com and News and search for Jewel and there's nothing mentioned. I think somebody has just taken the Yahoo! News template and fabricated the story, and then added the Yahoo address at the front to confuse people, when actually the true address is just the last part of the link. We'll find out if it's true soon enough, but to me that's a huge fake. Jewel played a CONCERT on Saturday night!! The flight to Japan is LONG and Japan is WAY ahead of the US in terms of the time difference. Saturday night in the USA is actually Sunday morning in Japan.... there's no WAY they could've gotten married and then flown to Japan in time. And then if the wedding took place LAST weekend, they would've flown straight to Los Angeles for the Oscars (we all known that they attended the Vanity Fair party)... not "to Japan"... What she wore: 03/30 Black tank top with black feathers on the straps, black skirt (that changed colors with the lighting), and thigh-high black boots. 03/31 A white sheer top with turquoise beading on the front with a turquoise bra underneath, a white jean skirt that was ripped diagonally, and turquoise boots The New Songs: 03/30 "Don't Wanna Be Loved by Anybody but You" An unfinished country sounding song. It was very short because, "that's all I really have," said Jewel. 03/31 "The Other Woman" A cover of a cover, but I can't remember who she said it was by. Kind of jazzy. She said that they had never done it before a crowd and was worried it was going to suck. It didn't My concert stories: 03/30 Lauren and I purchased our tickets the day the went on sale, which was 02/15. When we arrived at the concert and sat in our seats 18 rows back (not too shabby) we noticed that people who had bought their tickets that day were rows ahead of us. We went back out to the lobby to see if something could be done about this. The guy we spoke to turned out to be Jewel's agent. He directed us to a nice Japanese gentleman who immediately printed us new tickets for 6 rows closer than we were before. 10 rows back, center. Really not too shabby!!! After the concert, we went and bought tickets for the next night. When we bought them we asked for good seats. When they printed our tickets and it said row 0, we found out the next night what that meant. 03/31 In this theater, they had removable seating and then the permanent seating. It turned out for the concert, we were 4 rows back, center. Frickin awesome!!! I could actually see a spot on Jewel's leg where she missed shaving (Kind of gross, I know, but I saw it. That's how close I was.). I got a pick from one of the guitarists, Stuart Mathis (??). It is black, says "Jewel" on one side and then his name one the other. Is that name right?? Some lucky Japanese girl got to translate "The Cold Song" to everyone in the crowd. It was cute. I wish I was fluent in Japanese!!! :p We waited after the concert to see if we could maybe get an autograph. We waited 45 minutes in the rain. She did wave to us, but no autographs. :p Oh well. Both shows were really awesome. It's been so long since I've seen her in concert. I can't wait until I can see her in the States again. I think she was not so talkative because of the language barrier... Great concert though... I guess that's it. You don't have to hear me talk about going to the concert anymore, Cymbie. I also went through the source coding, and noticed there were a few things that the joker didn't edit from the original page.
