He's making fun of all the tennybopper fans on here who are fad-driven and don't have any musical knowledge.. If you'll remember back, on his review of This Way he was pondering over how much better the Lanois "New Wild West" would be than the one that's on the album.. So, yeah, look at his comments in context.. It's pretty obvious he was being sarcastic.. scott.evans [[mind is DISCONNECTED. but my heart is WIRED.]] AOL IM: sevans112 . Yahoo! Lanois for Tom & Paul Eh... once again sarcasm between the lines has escaped some people. You 2 should read Sean's post again. If you still don't get it... read one of his November posts... more precisely his album review. It's right there in the digest V6#580 and you'll know what I'm talking about right after you read first few lines. That comment he made was not made for the two of you... or then again perhaps it was as well... except you should've smiled, said "RIGHT ON!" and thought how sad but true it is. Not that it was bad that you posted the info... it's just intended for the wrong person... why teach a veteran pilot how to fly?! - -- Have fun and stay beautiful Dr. RomeAntic, an angel with the worst stroke of luck and a flash of revelation "Panties are not the best thing on earth, but next to best thing on earth" ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 4 Mar 2002 19:59:14 -0500 From: Fairy Angel Subject: [EDA] Why are we grumbling? I'll have to say I agree with Alisa. If some of you bash some of Jewel's songs so much, why are you EDA's? I mean, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I'll say that I don't love every song she has, but I don't diss them because she has talent, and it takes talent to write what she does. Maybe she is not the most advanced guitar player in the world, but she doesn't have to be. She's a good song writer, and her writing is deep. She's inspiring. Isn't that why we like her?
