GREAT to see all these EDAs again! well... the only thing stuck in my head that ive been dying to talk about it with the EDAs.... jewels performance of TNWW on conan! As far as I know, Jewel is not performing at the Olympics. It would be difficult since she is in Europe right now. We'll be informed of any new upcoming performances through the calendar or JeweLink. I think most, or all, of the new TV appearances will be in Europe for some time. We in the US will just have to be patient while waiting for news of the new tour. Subject: [EDA] A tour idea Since Jewel is using the same producer for her new remixed single for This Way as Michelle Branch used for her whole album...I think it would be cool to have them tour together. They are similar in many ways, but just different enough to offer some diversity. Michelle being more rock oriented, Jewel more folky of course. Also with Michelle's headlining tour ending at the end of this month, the timing would work as well...since Jewel won't be going out on the road in the states until April or so. Once I find out how to access past calendar dates on the website, I'll be more specific with these last few TV appearances. I've seen several members post over the past couple months stating they have one or all of these appearances, so I guess it's just a matter of if you *want* to trade, and/or if you have the equipment to dub VHS tapes. I have a ton of old, rare footage. Things the newers members especially may be really surprised to see....since Jewel has changed so much in the past several years. I know there's quite a few Canadians on the list as well, and was just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about that? I saw where they did a poll and 96% of the 250,000+ responses said they should have won. I think it's really sad that judges would stoop so low as to give the better skaters a lower rating only cause they had some bet going with another judge for another competition later on. I think it defeats the whole purpose of what the Olimpics are all about. I hope they somehow get it awarded to them.
