So, I have purchased the album at midnite at tower records this evening. I enjoy it very much.. I think that my favorite song on it is the New Wild West with a second of I Won't Walk Away. I find it to be very unique and of different style than any of the other jewel sounds or songs I've heard and i really enjoy it. My bet on the next single is Do You Want to Play? A song that ive enjoyed since i first heard her perform it at the spirit world tour! So right now two thumbs up! *the mystic angel* Jordana "I'd rather see the world from another angle." ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Nov 2001 01:53:52 EST From: NewWildWest@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Woah! Anyway : In 1964 in the US they released: Meet The Beatles The Beatles Second Album Hard Days Night Something New and Beatles '65 on top of this they released the movie Hard Days Night as well and were constantly touring In 1964 in the UK they released: The Beatles First Hard Days Night and Beatles For Sale In 1965 in the US they released: The Early Beatles Beatles VI Help and Rubber Soul In 1965 in the UK they only released TWO (yeah, only...) albums: Help and Rubber Soul on top of releasing the movie Help! and still touring... they were by far one of the hardest working bands in the business. Anyway my sources for the UK release dates was at: http://www.jpgr.co.uk/i_beatleslp_date.html and the US release dates at : http://www.discographynet.com/beatles/beatles.html . I didn't include interview discs, EPs or singles at all. Hopefully this helped with your question. Feel free to email me privately if you have any other questions. (The closer together the releases, the better.) Research sources would be good also. Thanks a lot. - - -=-Larry-=- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Nov 2001 04:59:57 -0500 From: Mike Connell Subject: [EDA] FWD: JeweLink: November 13, 2001 Here is the latest issue of JeweLink, directly from Jewel's "people", if you want to get a copy of this directly as each issue comes out, you can sub- scribe to it by sending a blank email to joinwelink@list.jeweljk.com ******************************************** JeweLink - The Official Jewel Communications List ******************************************** In this edition of JeweLink: ***JEWEL'S "THIS WAY" RELEASED TODAY! ***NEW JEWEL WEBSITE ***NEW GUEST ARTIST: JILLIAN SPEER ***JMERCH: NEW STORE AND NEW MERCH ***JEWEL TV AND RADIO THIS WEEK ***NOTES FROM MrBB/ANSWER FROM JEWEL ******************************************** ***JEWEL'S "THIS WAY" RELEASED TODAY! Today's question was submitted by JeweLink member Marc Troglione. Marc asks: How hard has it been to come up with songs for the new album and is it your favorite album so far? Jewel answers: Not hard. Luckily I'm prolific. I have over 500 songs in my catalogue, and at least 4 or 5 (on this record) are really quite old. Like "Love Me Just Leave Me Alone," I wrote when I was 21 or so. "Sometimes It Be That Way" I wrote when I was 17 or 18. And the new ones like "Serve The Ego," "Jesus Loves You" and "Standing Still" were fun to write. This is definitely my favorite record because it shows my versatility. Thats it for today. Keep checking the calendar for daily updates. Enjoy the new album! Is it just cause of the WTC and how the song was adapted for it, or because the stations don't like playing SS? Also, was it an EDA who won the tickets to see her on Jay Leno last night? I called and tried, but was caller 98 when they were asking for 102. *Pout* I can't wait for the new CD to come out. I'm driving my boyfriend nuts with my little countdown of, only 15 hours until I can buy the new disc...lol Plus you know it's bad when your boyfriend listens to Metallica and Slayer all the time, and he starts singing SS just cause it's in his head...lol. Well, I'm outta here, only 12 hours left till I can by Jewel's new CD!!!!! YAH!!!!!!!
