The things you say are just not called for at all for a JEWEL list. I don't get some of your selfish attitudes. Jewel said so herself that she is really proud of her work for a change and all you can do is complain because it was not what YOU wanted it to be! POY is not the fricken bible, and to alot of people it sucks. I love it but you don't have to hold it to her name and say that that is what she has to be or she sucks. Maybe that is not the true her in that and maybe the true her is what she is doing now. I don't understand how you can complain all the time and if you cant stop looking on the bad side of everything she does then why the hell did you join this list? TO just add to the argueing or what the hell cause it looks like that is all you are trying to do. YOu post all this shit just to get these people who stick behind her all the time to get riled up. She can do so much! Not only can she sing with a very creative sounding voice but she also has written all her songs!! Awesome lyrics! Plays her guitar so well. She has written two books and she can act (given a good role in a good movie...i don't doubt her talent here at all). (we did like her first movie). Standing Still song is different than the others, a little faster sounding, but its still a very beautiful song and just another creative way about her with her voice. I think Standing Still is a great addition to her song list. We just can't wait to hear the rest of This Way cd. I am happy that Jewel does it "her way." Where does she get all this creativity?? I would say, its her mom. From all that i have read, her mother is also a very creative person. I'm sure her dad is also creative...but i have a feeling it was her mom that had the ball rolling when those kids were very young. Ciara wants to meet Jewel so bad...and i would be happy just to talk to her mother for a few minutes. Anyway, we love Jewel for what she is and also for what she stands for and we support her. I thank her for what she has given my daughter. We have learned so much from her. And we had alot of fun doing it!! We say "Jewel" ..."has it going on." Ciara says "go girl!!"
