Okay, I just got done reading through most of the posts that have occurred today and had to say a few things. Of course, you know me...how could I not jump in and add my $.02!?! First, I like Derrick. He seems to be a stand-up guy that speaks his mind, even when it's against the grain. I admire that quality in people, perhaps because I am a businesswoman and have seen that behavior as a trend of most successful execs. I like Sean Hooks for the same reason. I've never seen any inconsistencies in Derrick's posts, nor do I believe that he says things in a trite manner, or says things to simply reap havoc. I had the opportunity to correspond with Derrick on many other occasions and have found him highly intelligent, focused, driven, and quite developed in his ways. So, I have no problems with Derrick. As for Mike's post, I found that the most amusing part of all. I had to scoff at this rant coming from the very person who over the years has spent numerous times telling others (me, Sean Hooks...etc.) to not be so rude, and to not be so offensive, and so on. Regardless of the driving force behind his rant (I always give Adrian's thoughts credence as I respect him in many, many ways), I still find it amusing. The bottom line seems to be that anyone who doesn't worship Jewel gets flamed. The other note on that is that those that get those flames are not as enraged as the flamers, as we expect, respect, and are somewhat happy to see the healthy banter. I have to run now and get some more work done. I hope everyone has enjoyed the feuding....LOL!
