Sheila, Ciara, or whoever you choose to be today...please give us a break!!! I've found so many inconsistencies in your posts it's not even funny anymore. For one...you say you're so old you can't even tell us your age, and that you may be the oldest EDA. Well Larry's already said he's 51, and if anyone's been on the list as long as you say you have (at least 2 years) they would know there are a few EDA's over 60. Judging from your e-mail addy, I would guess you are 56. But regardless of you exact age, if you are anywhere in that range (say 50-60), then how do you have a daughter whose only 7? I know it's not totally impossible for this to occur, but it's very rare for women to give birth past age 45. You say you discovered about Jewel through a radio shack ad. Well that radio shack ad came out less than 2 years ago. And since you were already on the list then, you and Ciara would have been well aware of who Jewel was. Basically, you have a TON of inconsistencies in your e-mails. I really don't know what more to say but I can tell you that I'm not even close to being the only one who thinks you have some "issues" going on inside your head. I'd even venture to say "Ciara" doesn't even exist. Your name may not even be Sheila. I have some other ideas about all this, but I'll keep that to myself for now. Let's just say that I'm not being fooled. This whole age thing that started was basically to mock you! And you didn't even realize it...or did you? LOL Anyway, it's been fun, but I think it's time to give everyone a break now. I'm sure most of us don't really care about your daughter if she even exists, or anything else you're talking about. Wake up from your fairy tale land. By the way, if she DOES exist, then why can't you produce a photo either of you or her? And I know I'm not the only one whose asked you for this (privately). Why not? Does that pose some sort of problem? hahahahaha > ---------- > From: Sheila56[SMTP:sheila56@tir.com] > Sent: Wednesday, October 31, 2001 9:34 AM > To: jewel@smoe.org > Subject: [EDA] Ciara age 7 > > okay...i guess i must be the very oldest one on this list!!!!! how > sad!!!! > honestly, i do not feel my age nor do i act it????? I have been downloading Jewel clips and have actually heard the whole album, and of course plan to get it on Nov. 13 just to have the darn thing in my hand. But, check out Suzanne and Dar...they're both excellent. Also...for the sake of list demographics, I'm a 29 year old female living in New York City. I'm a First Grade teacher and am just finishing my MA in Early CHildhood Ed. I'm also a singer on the side, although I sing mostly for myself and at school with kids and have decided that I'm not interested in a singing career, but singing is something precious to me that I will do no matter what. I just prefer to keep it out of the limelight for now. I've been too busy with work, grad school and boyfriend and although I could easily book myself lots of gigs, I just don't feel the drive to do it. More power to those who do, and also those who prefer to create in different ways. I'm also beginning to think about starting a family not right now, but over the next five years. One of my role models is Nedra. I want to be a wonderful nurturer to my children and especially if I have a little girl (not yet) but when and if I do I would encourage love and music in her life and if she happened to be into it, I would encourage that with all my heart (but not force anything of course. I wouldn't want to force my dreams on anyone else, but I would want to provide a music-loving home and guitar lessons, lots of singing around campfires, etc.( so that if she was in to it, then great. And if she favored my boyfriend's visual artistic talents, than great--or if she chose something completely different...well, that would be entirely up to her. ANyway, have a great day, peeples! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 Oct 2001 17:21:51 +0200 From: "Shachar Segal" Subject: [EDA] Shachar - 42 - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Connell" To: "andrea rotter" ; Sent: Wednesday, October 31, 2001 3:57 PM Subject: NJC: Re: [EDA] AGE THING > That young whippersnappper Andrea spewed: > >To all you feeling old.. mike hasn't posted...dennis hasn't posted.. > >larry hasn't posted... > > Larry is the old man of this trio, I'm in the middle, and Dennis is the > baby (you can take that "baby" line anyway you wish ;-) > > Mike - in the middle Just to make some of you feel young once more, I'm 42, soon to be 43.I'm closely guarding my alleged emotional immaturity (innocence), fondly remembering past mistakes and keeping busy with making new ones that I'll fondly remember 10 years from now. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 Oct 2001 11:54:52 EST From: HMN333@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Heather - age 20 Hi all, To someone who asked about the Rochester area, I'm from Niagara Falls.. I started reading the posts two days after the initial age questions. At first I thought I was the oldest, and I didn't think I was that old. I thought I was going to have to join the senior EDA list or something. I had my bags ready to go to the home and announce my retirement . . . alright that was a little too dramatic, but that's pretty funny imagery. I've posted about this before because I know there are some very new EDA's and some old timers like me. I've been on this list since 96', which for some of the veteran EDA's is like a fraction of the time for them. I've been a relatively quiet EDA because of the busy lifestyle. I joined when I was 21 and just turned 26 about 3 weeks ago so for those that feel old send me an e-mail. Maybe we can go to the park, play some bingo, and complain about the government. To the list I say.... Go straight to hell Derrick! Why don't you also tell them about your fucking history of driving me and someone who works for Jewel nuts with your inane and endless emails and rants about whatever bug happens to be up your ass at the time. (and there has been a WHOLE hive of them over the years) I really do not care if what you posted about today is true or not, could not care less at all. Yes, maybe you have gotten some positive replies about this one today, but do you have any iota of a clue as to how many emails I have gotten over the years about what an ass you are? and how I deal with it? I'm fed up with your "horsehit," (as you put it about what I call it) and am hereby officially asking you to leave this list in front of everyone. I've already wasted too much of my time and life on you and am not going to do it any more. Life is too short. There I called your bluff. I apologize to all EDAs old and new about this rant of mine, but trust me, you have no clue at all as to what I and a few others behind the scenes have gone through with this guy over the years, especially recently, and other of course pests I've had to deal with and spend time and money on. I am fed up with it amd am not going to take it anymore, nor am going to be Mister Niceguy about it any longer. As for the Harris' "Sit on it for a day" rule before sending a post one wrote in anger and might regret later, well....I will not ever regret this. Again, go straight to hell Derrick.
