Never made a post before so here goes: I have been a loyal fan since before POY was even happening, as im sure most of you as well. I cannot wait for the new album!!!! I know some of you have already heard all the tracks on the new album and already started rating them, but I just cant bring myself to get all of them simply because I want to have THAT expierence of going out and buying the album, laying down, lighting some candles and listening to the whole thing through a few times. Jewel's music has done so much for me. It has gotten me thru some really difficult times as im sure it has you all as well. A loooong time ago I actually found out about Jewel through Steve Poltz. About 7 years later I saw them together on the Spirit Tour and they were both amazing and I caught myself crying more than once during that show because I was so touched. I know people have been talking about who they would like to see open for Jewel on her next tour. Eventhough I have no real knowledge of the status of the relationship between Jewel and Steve I would give almost anything to hear them together again. So I'll just go down the line. 1.) I think its an awesome idea to do a Radio Angels 2001, I would defiantly trade to get it 2.) As for the singer Shakira, I think she has a very unique voice. The reason I think I like her is how she does that weird thing w/ her voice, it sounds cool. I like the song that's out right now, I've heard it in both English and Spanish but I don't know which I like better. I don't really like the video its too boring or it looks like she's just belly dancing in front of a screen that's showing all these horse and stuff running. 3.) Also w/ the thing as Michelle Branch as the opening act for Jewel's next tour, I don't really like the idea b/c they're too similar (Jewel, of course, I think is better). I'm not saying I don't like Michelle Branch, she's cool but they're just too many similarities (sp?) and it would be like her a different version of Jewel.
