That you're sexist. You on the other hand reply with remarks that I am clearly stupid. This coming from one who can't even spell. I understand the simple mind will use insults such as you're stupid, but come on it's clear that you are intelligent. I mean after all you are a Dj, and I am sure a highly paid one at that for your sexist remarks, and that you're probably most appealing to the backwater rednecks of this country. As for contacting my ISP if such a peon as yourself has that ability. Go ahead. Tell them you're a sexist, and that you simply got a response from a concerned citizen that you didn't like, and so you threatened them, and called them stupid. I am sure they will understand fully. You wouldn't do that though would you. As concerning yourself. Think outside the box man!!! Give yourself a little credit as a smart human being, and act accordingly. Oh well....I'm also kind of surprised that Sometimes it Be That Way is just a bonus track and not going to be on every version of the album. Also I'm not too happy about Til We Run Out of Road. It's an alright song but I know there are many others that would have been better for this particular album. That one is pretty country. It doesn't really fit in with the rest of the songs. BTW am I going crazy or didn't album used to be spelled albumn? Sorry, it's been a Loooong week!!! Kristie The blue jean angel ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Oct 2001 16:06:55 EDT From: Fredsteve@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Official Tracklist! Well... finally we've been told the proper tracklist! Horray! Although we've all known the songs for a while... just the order has been changed from the one on the Atlantic site last week. I have to say I like the tracklist A LOT. I was disappointed when it was announced that the other one was inaccurate, so I'm glad it's pretty much the same. It has some of my favourite older songs (Grey Matter, Sometimes It Be That Way, Love Me Just Leave Me Alone). Plus slightly more recent songs like Break Me and Do You Want To Play (which was my favourite new song from the spirit tour). And from what I've heard of her recent material, it's really good too... especially Jesus Loves You and New Wild West. This Way (the song) will be the only BIG surprise.. because it's something none of us have even heard of... and Cleveland isn't necessarily "You're in Cleveland Today".. it could be a totally new song. The only song I would replace if given the option is Everybody Needs Someone Sometimes... I liked the original version on the Spirit Tour, and I really liked the new version when I first heard it... but listening to it more, it sounds too much like a line dance. But maybe it'll be different on the CD. My guess on the enhanced different studio version of a song - Jesus Loves You. This is simply because the JeweLink specifically states that every song on the actual CD was co-produced by Jewel and Dann Huff, and I know that John Kurzweg produced a version of Jesus Loves You... so I'm thinking they're including that version on the enhanced CD. I could be TOTALLY off-base.. but it's a logical guess. I, personally, am glad that the CD has only one other co-producer (other than Jewel). I said from the beginning that the idea of getting multiple producers for different songs never seems to work out.. it always sounds broken up.. it's something Britney Spears generally does. So yeah.. exciting news! Can't wait to actually hear the album! Not surprisingly (as this happens every year) the musicians on the cover didn't get much of a mention inside the magazine. There is a little feature on each of them... Jewel is the first and hers goes like this: At age six Jewel Kilcher performed with her family in clubs in Alaska. At 18 she wound up in San Diego writing songs while living in her van. At 22 she had already toured with Bob Dylan and Neil Youn and had a debut album, 1995's Pieces of You, which sold more than 11 million copies. Since then there's been the huge, best-selling book of poetry, two more multi-platinum albums, and three more fatiguing years on the road. Now 27, Jewel is about to release This Way, a return to her raw, folk-country roots recorded in Nashville. Despite her glammed up image of the past five years, the Jewel on our cover is who she really is: an onstage natural who is most at hom ein Rancho Santa Fe at the house she shares with her mother, or at the Texas ranch of her boyfriend, rodeo champion Ty Murray, where, she says, laughing, "I castrate cattle on my days off!" - -LISA ROBINSON The picture itself on the cover is very nice. It's a very interesting group of musicians.
