They are so amazingly beautiful. Some critic said that they sound like "God weeping tears of gold in heaven", which I totally agree with. I think if you apreciate Jewel's music, you will appreiciate theirs. So...If you haven't heard them, you really should try to. But my question is to ask if anyone on the list knows Icelandic at all, or can tell me what some of their songs mean in english because I have no idea what they are singing, even though it is beautiful anyway. Does anyone know what "Sigur Ros" means in English too? thanks! ~Katherine http://kiss.to/xblueangelx AIM s/n: AngelGrlKZ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Sep 2001 21:53:23 EDT From: Cember76@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] Radio Tour In a message dated 9/17/2001 6:20:31 PM Pacific Daylight Time, fjjordao@wnetrj.com.br writes: > did anyone hear Jewel today?? > I would like to know that too. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Sep 2001 21:59:22 EDT From: Fang0004@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Standing Still on alot of NYC Stations Jewel's brand new single "Standing Still" was being played on all of the major radio stations in NYC. I was surprised that they would play it since they are playing the remixed version of "Hands." After I heard it I called up Z100, one of the radio stations that played it, and told them how happy I was that they played it. They said that "Standing Still" had the most calls by people saying that they loved it in like 2 weeks. I am so happy people are liking the song and I hope record sales for the album are great! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Sep 2001 21:59:41 -0400 (EDT) From: James McGarry Subject: Re: [EDA] Sigur Ros On Mon, 17 Sep 2001 AngelGrlKZ@aol.com wrote: > what they are singing, even though it is beautiful anyway.
