I emailed yesterday asking for your thoughts and prayers for my 5 family members involved; we got word late last night that my Aunt Stacey was found in the rubble at the Pentagon, with a broken arm and a lot of cuts and bruises, but alive! She's in the hospital today, but should be out within the week. My great Uncle John and cousin Gregg actually had switched flights and that flight was grounded in Canada, and they got through to us this morning. My cousin Susan had called in sick, and was in NYC when it all happened, and also couldn't get through, but she also reached us today. My uncle Lee, who worked at the WTC, was evacuated immediately after the first crash, and was taken into protective custody, and because of his status in the CIA, was not allowed to contact anyone regarding what had happened, and we just got a call from the CIA a few hours ago saying that he was injured slightly, mostly cuts and scrapes, and was also safe in NJ. You might not understand what I'm saying until you've read this, but I don't see how this could be a coincidence because there are too many small details that add up: 1.) This guys hatred of Americans, and the fact that said we were going to get it. 2.) The fact that he posted on Sep 4 that he would tell us in 7 days, but then he was going away for good... 7 days = Sep 11 3.) His posts, first starting Aug 31st, are under the thread subject : 911, which has been pointed out = 9/11 4.) In one of his post he said something about having to keep his mouth shut and not being able to say any more about what was going to happen. They have opened their phone lines, asking people to call in and request a song or songs that reflect how they feel about the tragedy of yesterday. Now that I know my family is injured but safe, I've decided that I will call in tomorrow morning, and request "Life Uncommon." It sums up what I feel, and probably a lot of people feel. I know it wasn't a released single, but I know the local radio station morning show host, so hopefully I can pull some weight. Maybe we all could try and get our radio stations to play this song. Even people here in Europe are influenced. The WTC was an international business centre, so not only Americans died on this tragic day. Already several German businessmen are reported dead. There was no social life of any kind yesterday. I had to quit work earlier because I just couldn't focus anymore. Every TV station reported full-time, music channels did quit their programs, social events ranging from sports to exhibitions were canceled. Everyone I talked to just couldn't believe what happened. Now I can only hope, that the US government stays calm. Striking back at somebody just to show some actions would be a bad idea. They should remember that this is what seperates democracies from terrorist. Democracies don't act without all facts and they keep civilists out of it.
