Dag on im a loser LOL. BUt, on my way home form nashville... they played this song on the radio called "Everywhere" I listened to like the first minute, and didnt like it. I thought she sang funny. They played it aa total of 6 tiems in the 5 hour drive ( i skipped the station every time) But alas, I am an open minded angel, so I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt, and tune into the show tonight. let's see what this chic can do. What time is that 12:30 EAStern Time? Also, I was interested in finding Shephards Bush... I know a great angel traded angelfood, with me and that was included... however, the CD was lost on my trip to NYC to see Jewel. ( including my collectors Bits and Baubles CD being cracked into 3 pieces *sigh* bad trip for my Jewel cd's). So if anyone is intersted in trading some angelfood. Look at the calendar! :-) (Okay, I know all this was in JeweLink #2.. But I got the email after I finished writing all of this, right before I sent.. So just bask in my excitement if nothing else...lol) There have been major events added to the official Jewel site calendar.. I browsed through it, not expecting much, but then I was like 'Wait! This wasn't here! ...Neither was this! ...or this!' lol.. Here are the new events: September 5 -- Benefit Concert for Democratic Mayoral Candidate Mark Green, Town Hall, NYC (Jewel, Mary J. Blige & Jon Bon Jovi will be performing. Contact the venue for further details.) September 6 -- MTV: MTV Music Awards, New York, NY (Jewel will be a presenter on this years awards show. Broadcast live at 8:00PM EST) September 24 -- IFC Network: Crossover (An IFC production focusing on musicians in the movies, directed by Steven Cantor. Premeire broadcast at 8:00 PM EST and repeated at 11:00 PM EST) The Crossover special reruns on Sept. 29 at 9:45 EST and Sept. 30 at 2:15AM EST. This is pretty cool.. I can catch both of the TV events.. IFC is great.. I hope they get a new interview with Jewel and not just Ride With The Devil clips.. And I hope she's portrayed in a positive light...lol And the MTV slot, that's pretty big.. I see the hype machine kicking into full gear..
