Angela wrote I would be certain she recorded in studio with a band cuz at one point in there she asked if any musicians who worked on the album where there. One spoke up and she was like your the only that showed up?? :-( And he was like I think so and so is here but he never made himself known. I dont think a musician has to be someone who plays an instrument I consider myself an musician, an di sing.. i dont play anything. oh well. I myself think the cd is gonna be accoustic ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2001 19:29:58 -0400 From: "Scott" Subject: Re: [EDA] Jesus Loves You Can you all imagine how much this song is going to rock ass with heavy percussion and instruments? The SonicNet article said John Kurzweg got the A Perfect Circle drummer to recreate the "percussion heavy" sound he heard on the demo.. A Perfect Circle is realllllly hard ROCK.. The lyrics sound like they're gonna be great, and then you pair that with some really heavy sound.. I think that would constitute the "edgy" label.. scott.evans [[crazy is just YOU and ME. But that is along the lines of what she said. I am very interested. I could fly ouit there, but a shirt would be SO COOL. The smaller size the better hopefully... I would be so grateful, and of course I will pay!! Laurel Colorado angel I truly believe that individuals can make a difference in society. Since periods of great change such as the present one come so rarely in human history, it is up to each one of us to make the best use of our time to help create a happier world. It was Katie, not Kristie that I said: ...might be in with the witness protection program because her room was not listed at the elevators in the hotel and you had to hike down a long hall around the corner into a cubby hole in the back... BUT, it did have a cotton ball dispenser in the bathroom, which I understand is a BIG hit with the ladies. I can't tell ya the name of the hotel of course, because of that witness protection stuff, you understand... ;-) Oh, and about that 'Paparazzi' thing: We really did look like the Paparazzi, I mean there was about 20 or so cameras all going off at the same time. She was blinded by all the flashes from the cameras and when she said it she was smiling, it was funny, or at least I thought it was. A few people seem to have been insulted by that, and I wanted to make it clear that I don't think it was derogatory. Then others were yelling the words, Jewel made fun of the song. Saying -- oh yeah this shows off my poetic abilities and ooh I was really on a roll that night.... something to that affect (again memory loss) but I do remember her being very sarcastic with the lyrics. Almost like -- geez simple lyrics, small words that rhyme -- it makes you want to say oooh.... - -Angela- ^ Shimmery Angel ^ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2001 21:27:22 EDT From: MMCFAR@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Nashville Show...Pictures Hello everyone. I have not written to this list before, however I am looking forward to writing in more often. As for the Nashville show. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ! I could have sat there several more hours ! When the show was over, I had to leave in a hurry. I wish that I would have stayed now to get some pictures. If anyone would be so kind, I would love to have some pictures that they were able to take after the show. You could email them to me, or if you would like, you could send them to me in the mail. I will more than happy to send you money for the pics and your trouble in advance. If so, please feel free to email me at: mmcfar@aol.com Take Care, Mike Mc.
