This is a live concert recording session with the goal obviously being to include some or all of it on a future release. We will have to wait until her next CD or whenever this show appears on a release to hear it. I am not totally sure, but I believe MrBB addressed this topic either in a list post or a private post to the 100 invitees. First of all, PLEASE do not try to sneak any camera's into the venue. The J-team was nice enough to offer up this free concert to our group and have stated no cameras, no recording devices. We owe it to them to not to try to sneak any such items in. They have been nice enough in the past to invite us to many events (JewelStock, MTV Unplugged, VH1 Storytellers, Sessions At West 54th etc) and while some did presernt photo ops, some did not for a very good reason. They were filming and recording and sudden flashes can really mess things up. The "no cameras" policy (when in effect) ensures no such costly distractions will occur. Any alternatives are not too easy. For the few EDAs driving to the event who will have their car parked nearby the venue, you'll just have to leave your cameras in the car and hopefully get them after the event IF a photo-op presents itself. For those who will be in hotels/motels, I do not know what to advise you. Maybe you can work out a nearby camera storage plan at one of the EDA events you are all putting together for the hours before the show. I am also sure that many of you will want to get photo with *each other* (not just Jewel, should the opportunity arise), wwhich of course can occur before the event...."each other" photos I mean, not with Jewel before the event ). While we were lucky enough after the first night of Jewelstock to have photo ops and meet & greets with Jewel, Patty Griffin & Nedra, there are literally hundreds of photos EDAs took of each other on the net right now. I am others are looking forward to seeing similar NashBash EDA pictures posted on the web in the coming weeks. (I've always wondered what Gerry Lipnowski looks like :) Remember, it is not yet known IF there even will be a meet & greet. I am sure it will depend on many factors. Time will tell. Just hope for the best. Mike :) P.S. The EDA guest list is finalized and everyone who was invited has the info they need. Jewel is feeling much better and looking forward to Sunday night. Every invitee should already be perfectly clear on these things, as they were addressed in the invitations and previous posts, but a few helpful reminders: This concert is being professionally filmed and recorded for possible later release, so you must leave all cameras and recording devices outside the venue. If you are bringing these items for your travel use, make arrangements to store them elsewhere during the concert. You will not be allowed in if you are carrying these items on you, so leave them in your car, another EDA's car, hotel or whatever you feel best. Trying to sneak them in can result in you being asked to leave, so please relax on this issue and simply enjoy the music and great company. As far as photo ops after the concert go, nothing like that is planned and should not be expected. Those kinds of opportunities are rarely ever planned and only happen when everyone, including Jewel, is feeling comfortable. So lets just see how it goes. Primarily, I want to re-remind all invitees and their guests, DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR ID OR DRIVERS LICENSE! You will not be able to enter the venue unless your ID matches a name on the guest list. We certainly don't want anyone left out because they forgot, so please remember to bring an ID.
