I must say I am disappointed, only because it was so close.. adn we were all so excited. But like Mr BB said, they will make it up to us :) Reminder to erveryone who was going.... Cancel hotel reservations asap. Almost ALL hotels have a 24 hour cancellation rule, and I know some eda's who have been charged 50-100 bucks to cancel on such late notice. I know last week in New York Jewel said she had a scratchy throat, and wasn't sure why... well i guess we all know why now huh? Anyway, look at the bright side. I just wanted to wish Jewel a quick and painless recovery, in the midst of all the EDA disappointment of the postponement of the concert. I can imagine that Jewel will be equally as bummed and disappointed knowing that she can't perform for you. The most important thing is for Jewel to rest up so she can be at her utmost health and happiness to put on a great show for all you guys when she is ready. I'd count myself lucky for that. Much to everyone's dismay, Jewel is seriously ill with strep throat and various complications and she will be unable to perform or sing until she recovers. It is with great regret that we must reschedule the private EDA concert originally scheduled for Monday evening in Nashville. This event will happen in Nashville and the guest list will stay the same when we do it, but at this point, theres not much else I can tell you as this is all breaking news as of minutes ago. I will stay in contact with The EDAs as new plans finalize. The absolute best thing you can do to help this situation right now is to help us get this information to everyone quickly. If you were going and/or have friends going, call them and please help us reach those not checking their email. Again, we are extremely sorry for all the inconvenience this brings to so many of you and hope most of our EDA guests will be able to reschedule along with us.
