Right now, in my CD player, besides Jewel, I have Uncle Kracker, Loreena Mckinett, some old Def Lepard (I was feeling nostalgic for the 80's) and Tori Amos. To say those are my "favorite" is difficult so I listed the artists I've listened to the most (basically wore out the CD's) I've noticed a small pattern of Hard Rock heavy metal listeners on the list which somewhat relieved me since I thought it was a little strange to listen to some band scream their heads off . . . and like it, then switch to Jewel. It all depends on the mood and the circumstance but that's the most beautiful aspect of music is the fact that it isn't uniform. Thank God.
