Just making an announcement that I'm actually committing to this year. For those of you who made it to JewelStock (or any other large EDA gathering before or after), you know that EDA gatherings are something to treasure. I've been desperately trying to get to the Bearsville reunions ever since Jewelstock. Well.. this year. I'll be there! =) No, seriously. I mean it! I actually purchased plane tickets (non stop to Newark!) and made rental car reservations and scheduled it so I'm only taking off one day of work. :) Woo hoo!! So.. now that I'm going. You must go! ehhe.. okay, so I wish it worked that way. ;> But seriously, I really do miss a lot of you and I'll be ecstatic to see each and every one of you that makes it to the Bearsville reunion this year. Gerrit Music Fan Galore http://endor.org P.S. I'm arriving into Newark on Friday at 7:42pm and have to be back by 5pm on Sunday. If anyone is needs a ride and thinks I might be able to help them out, drop me a line. P.P.S. Remember, I'm the silly person who picked up Lauren Bond from Maryland to go to Tom O'Brien's New Years Eve Party on Staten Island... from Rochester, NY.. but don't hold me to it! ;P eheh ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Apr 2001 18:31:35 -0500 From: "Jean Harlean" Subject: Re: [EDA] NJC: name changing I think a woman should use whichever name she likes best: her own last name, her last name coupled with her husbands, or just her husbands name. If I had to make a choice for myself however, I'd pick the first one. It's such a career gal thing to do hehe. ~~Jean~~ _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Apr 2001 18:33:50 -0600 From: "Richard Russell" Subject: [EDA] This weeks Jewel pictures Well, i dont usually ever post..think i posted twice quite a while back. You are not fooling anybody. You are not deep and you are not philisophical. You are just annoying and pretentious. You asked what gives anyone else the authority on what is divine. Well what makes you the authority on what is or is not divine? Nothing. Even Jewel would be laughing at this point. "I shall make gods of stone from men of clay, while you maintain the statement that nothing can be sacred but what you believe." LOL... I once saw a definition of "hero" that fits Jewel. It doesnt matter if you or i think she is a hero, the decription will fit. "hero, an ordinary person who has done something extraordiary" it fits Jewel as well. "jewel, an ordinary person who has done something extraordiary" Seee! I bet if you really think about it that definition fits a lot of people Eliot~centralfloridaangel ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Apr 2001 23:48:00 EDT From: Wigglytooth523@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Re: bearsville questions hey angels, Id love to go to Bearsville, but I have a few problems. First I only have like a 4/5 man tent- too big for just lil ol me. Two, Since Im under 21, if the car companies would even rent me a car to drive from Jersey to Bearsville, it would cost me like triple to do so. This is after convincing mom I can even go. So heres my question- is there anyone whos willing to share a ride or a tent? We might be able to work out a trade or something, Iike you give me a lift I share my tent or something. I live in Orlando and would be either flying out of Daytona Beach(DAB) or Orlando international(MCO). If ur a Florida EDA that would work out great- but any and all are welcome. I am surprised you even take it publicly, considering how you got egg on your face last time we spoke. If you wish to continue the personal conversation, email me. As for this, since it is a public statement, I must engage in public defense. Fortunately, I am not trying to fool people, so my not fooling anyone is accurate. You seem quick to declare how no one believes in these words, yet, a new commercial on MTV came out today with the slogan realize the goddess you are. (Venus shaver) You would probably call it coincidence, however, and that my speaking in a public forum for music has no relativity to the world of music. It doesn't matter, for as before, I am not here to defend myself, but open minds. I haven't declared myself an authority on the divine, though some do based on the content of my statements. It is the irrefutable facts I lay before you that give my words weight, I.E. pyramid/godhead/celebrity worship, the oft stated absence of the divine leaving an opening for vice, etc. Maybe when you can put some content behind your refutations, you might gather belief. As of now, all you have done is say not true without any base by which to argue. The authority exists in the historical facts, not your repetitive opinion. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Apr 2001 00:40:03 EDT From: Wesllow@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Possible Summer Gathering!
