If you remember in CDTD, Jacque mentioned that "Life Uncommon" was a true song of freedom. And Jewel was to sing that song on July 4 for whatever benefit or concert she was playing at... It think it would be fitting... Or, like I said, Jacque's B-day. As far as Jewel's new album goes, I hope it is more of a rocker... :) Like "Down So Long" and "Life Uncommon" type stuff... I know someone already said this, but in the April 9-16 issue of Us magazine there is a picture on page 73 of Jewel, Ty and Renee Zellweger. The picture is from the waist up and Ty is wearing a white shirt, black cowboy hat and drinking a heineken. Jewel is wearing a pretty white dress with silver sparkles (or just top since the picture doesn't show). It mentions Jewel briefly in the article too. It says, "The evening began with a dinner for 150 guests, among them Dylan McDermott, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sarah jessica Parker, Warren Beatty and Jewel. They dined on chilled jumbo asparagus, aged New york steak and Maryland crab cakes and sipped private reserve wine from Francis Ford Coppola's Napa Valley vineyard while they watched the [oscar] ceremony on 20 big screen tv's." It was the Vanity Fair oscar party that she attended not the actual oscars.
