Seriously, if anyone has ever seen Glass Menagerie or Death of a Salesman, those were his awesome movies that built him up to his respected status. He was even considered one of the Sexiest people on a survey i read. Sure, he may not be what we consider cute or sexy or whatever, but he's probably my favorite actor just because of his ability and improv skills. He's awesome, and so is Jewel. So, maybe, well, i mean of course, sex sells, if it didn't, we wouldnt be smoking, drinking, wearing designer clothing, or anything as much as we do now. I respect Jewel for her music, but sure, anyone is guilty of liking SOMEONE for their appearance, I mean come on, is it not true, (yet also only my mere opinion) that John Cusack is incredibly adorable? Almost all of us have to admit to liking someone also because of their appearance. So let the convo's be, and breathe once in a while. An age of someone who comments on an issue shouldn't matter, it should be how they view the world. Jewel isn't expecting you to look at it the way she does in her songs, or the way she does by the things she says (off or on the records), or the poems she writes. We're all multidimensional, I mean come on, listen to the final speech in 'The Breakfast Club' A lot of people are a lot of things. Its RUDE especially when you're out in public, or even more so.... if you're working w/ the public. I work in a grocery store, and I will NOT curse in front of customers. People who do that have no class. I once dealt with a bagger who was talking w/ his friend.... he was bagging for me, and saying "F--- this.... f--- that...... shit and everything in between" right in front of the customer. I had to turn to him and tell him to shit his pie hole because there was a customer there. the customer thanked me. I've seen obnoxious teenagers saying all the same (f this f that...) in front of small children. I once was friends with a guy, who's brother and sister in law ENCOURAGED their 2 year old son to say "F you" The kid once said it to me, for no apparant reason. The parents (and granparents) laughed. I was appalled. I had a friend who was actually gonna teach her kids to say "shit and piss" because "pee and poop" were too sissy. Can you imagine a 4 year old going to his preschool teacher saying "excuse me... i have to shit" Its outrageous. I'm not saying I don't curse. I do, but in moderation. I wish I didn't curse, because its just not neccessary... unless you have a perfectly good reason to.... but people who curse, just to curse, annoys me. I know a kid who moved here from Russia.... I swear... the F word mustve been the first word he learned, and its obviously his favorite. He uses it at least twice in every sentence he speaks. and its very obnoxious. I cant even hold a decent conversation with him. All he talks about his pot anyway.
