Actually, i'm not sure Kim is on the list anymore... Are ya Kim?? I was talking to Kim a month or so ago.. and he mentioned something about geocities.com forcing him to take all his RA files down - because he had too many, and they seemed to think he might be doing something illegal. Even when he explained that he was doing nothing wrong - they didn't believe him. Poor Kim :( He was intending to re-build his site somewhere else... but i guess he got sidetracked or something. He did mention that *gasp!* his interest in Jewel was fading a little.. he's more into the local kiwi music scene these days.. (Yay Fur Patrol!!!) I even sent him "Rare Jewels" to try and get his interest up again... but i guess it wasn't enough - *sigh* I haven't heard from him in ages.. so who knows? I might send him an email and see whats going on. Wow, i feel like the gossipy secretary who's filling in everyone on what everyone else is doing.. LOL :) It's quite fun.. I never listened to the words, never understood them, so I heard the melody and I thought it was so cute and nice. Then I understood this song was not happy, but a bit angry and disappointed about the world. But then I was confused. Why did she say, "I was thinking that I might fly today"? I always thought that flying was something liberating and beautiful. But now I can understand it better in the context it's in, though I can't explain it too well. And anyway, I'm glad she changed it from the original thought of "dying" with "flying". It's a lot nicer.
