I love the song as it's about a relationship between a man and a woman who go to a tough time. Jewel really knows how to write a nice song. It's one of my favourites at this moment Are there still perhaps some fans in the San Jose area going to see Jewel in Saratoga. I am going to travel to the USA so any information from the american fans about a meeting would be nice Bye Michiel a dutch Jewelfan ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Aug 2000 12:08:52 -0400 From: "Kris Kelley" Subject: * How I became an EDA! >Hey everyone! I was just curious as to how everyone came to be on the EDA >list. How did you find out about it? When did you join? Things like that. I heard she was doing a concert @ Hampton Beach here in NH and since she was coming the radio was playing some of her stuff. I couldn't make it to the concert, but I bought the CD, and loved it. Went online and searched for Jewel that week (I'm like that) oh this was 96 I think....anyhoo...I found the EDA netiquette page and joined up. Been here ever since :~) ~Kris~ The Singing NH (MASS ON SUNDAY!!!!!) This is a final reminder that there will be a Living Room Concert at my place in Jersey City this Sunday, Sept. 3 with Luna Taylor, longtime EDA from Texas, and Steph Hewett from Kansas. Music will probably start around 6 or 7pm, but people will be arriving throughout the day and some will be staying over both Saturday night and Sunday night. I just need to know who's coming and when. So far the definite attendees are (in addition to some non-EDA guests): Dennis Harris (coming in from MA), Duff Martin (coming in from KS), Eric Montas, Dan Stark, Leif Yu, Kelly Gallagher, Tom Proven (I think? Coming in from PA), and a surprise guest - a longtime EDA who is coming the farthest distance of all for his or her very first East Coast gathering! So, let me know if you want to be added to this list! It's gonna be a fun weekend! I'm very close to Manhattan with access by plane, train, boat, car, and bus. And don't forget Ecto-fest on Saturday! ( http://www.ectofest.org/ ) :-) Amy ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Aug 2000 16:27:21 EDT From: NikosSong@aol.com Subject: * Just a reminder...(with all the talk about Jewelstock) This is just a reminder about my contest. I figured this would be a good time to repost it, with all of the talk of Jewelstock and all :) I'll repost the original message below...Good luck again! ********************************************************************** Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am holding a contest. (This will probably be only useful to new EDAs.) Here are the details: My most recent contest is for a recording of Jewelstock. This is an incredible set of tapes that every EDA must have. In order to enter, you must go to my special contest website and click on "Sign Guestbook." There, enter either a short essay (on any topic relating to Jewel), or your favorite quote. Remember, originality is key. Good luck and have fun! The address of this webpage is: http://hometown.aol.com/nikossong/index.html. This contest ends on Friday, September 15, 2000. Good luck to all you EDAs!
