I know many of you were looking forward to having it available on Monday, but the consensus I've gotten from several places is that the new release date will be Tuesday July 18th. I don't know if this applies to release plans outside North America. It may or may not apply to European release plans which were also scheduled for Monday. Maybe an EDA in the UK can check locally & post release status for Europe. I started it last year and finally got it finished a month ago. It is a video of various things that we have done in the name of Jewel. Mainly it is a fundraiser that myself and about 30 friends did in her/ clearwater's name and raised 25,000 Dollars for a local charity which helps, homeless people. It has people holding a large check with Jewel/clearwaters name on it, be given to the charity. We have various shots of other fundraisers and volunteering we did. In the end is th best part...This took the longest to do. Myself and a few friends from texas skydived and joined together to spell Jewel. With this video, i'm giving her an osaci Butterfly necklace. I did put the EDA's name on it. "Scott S." -Big Sexy Angel "We Were Put on Earth to Make Love, Everything Else We Do Just Helps Pass Time!" I have two questions, perhaps one of you might help me. I'd be grateful. The first is: I'm living in Germany and I noticed on the list it was mentioned several times, that RWTD is published for watching at home, DVD for instance. But when can I see it at the cinema? Can I see it there anyway? Does anybody know? The second question: I noticed about Jewel's home video of course, and I would like to see that too. But "A Life Uncommon" is released so far only for US video systems. Does anybody know when I'll be able to buy it in Germany suitable for my video system? OK, everybody, have a good time, take care and give love whenever you can. I checked out HFS's site and they don't list the artists that perform at their previous festivals, they just have pictures and there are only about six up on their site from 1996, two of Jewel and none of the Bloodhound Gang. (here's the link to the one of Jewel performing for all you picture collectors out there) http://www.whfs.com/archives/NutCracker/1996/jwl_gmupc.asp The Bloodhound Gang got their name from a skit in an old 3-2-1 Contact show (oooh...weird childhood memories - anyone else remember when it was the Electric Company?) - it's never been the Bloodhounds. But in their official site they do list Jewel as one of the "many notable acts" that they've performed with. ~kristen ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 May 2000 20:33:04 CDT From: "Jessica Nix" Subject: * Million Miles Away Hi Angels! Does anyone know if the Jewel/Steve Poltz song "Million Miles Away" was ever finished?? Steve sings part of it on Life Uncommon, and he says they never finished it. Could you guys please help me?? I would also like to say, for Jewel's b-day gift, I like the idea of the book full of letters to her. It's just my opinion.
