Anyways, I was thinking that maybe someone should compile all the new Jewel songs from the Spirit World Tour onto one tape. Like put So Close To Heaven, Weeping Tree, Do You Want To Play?, Sue Lee Song, etc.... I would really like a tape like that I know many other people would, too. I would make the tape myself but I don't have that much Angelfood let alone those songs. Some other songs would be Kilkinney Pub, Happy Endings, etc. I don't know, if you want to you can. Just an idea from the way too talkative at the moment Angel :~) greg - the broken angel aim - brknang523 * e-mail - lovingjewel@hotmail.com jupiter revisited - http://www.geocities.com/jeweljupiter/ passenger - http://www.geocities.com/passenger28/ - ---------------------------------------------------------------- "don't wander too far, my one constant star, darkness exsist except where you are" - jewel last dance rodeo ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2000 17:06:44 EST From: DimDream@aol.com Subject: * i have a question about RWTD Hi, I hope you guys don't think I'm dumb but what happened with "Ride With The Devil:"? This is not necessarily her best song, but the song that you feel you have the strongest connection to emotionally. Thanking you, Angel-a. List Moderator Note - to avoid confusion, I would like to clarify this by adding that the Jewel Bits & Baubles CD available at JMerch is a "freebie" when you buy all five posters. It is not purchasable as a single item. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2000 19:02:55 PST From: "Matt Sullivan" Subject: * birthday book cancelled/ review book instead I have just found out that Jewel cannot read fan poetry that is not published in a book and copywrited. THEREFORE, the book has been cancelled beacuse of this. But there will be a different gift, a tour review book. If you want a message in it, please send it to me @ poyjk@hotmail.com. Include things like what you thought of the songs live, guests, new songs, and things like that. She appreciates our input! Thanx! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2000 21:47:40 EST From: NikosSong@aol.com Subject: * NEW Jewel Kissable contest yeah yeah yeah, I know we just got done with one, but now there is ANOTHER ONE! Except, the thing is, I don't think this is very important. The winner of this one gets 10,000 or so breath mints sent to them if they win :) Anyway, Jewel is selected as one of the nominees for "Most Kissable Female Artist". If you want here to win, go here: http://www.candystand.com/asp/grammysurvey.asp There is also something about winning a trip to the grammys, but i don't think that is really any important to us..anyway, thought you all might want to know about it! It seems like this is a great group of people that has a lot to offer one another. I'm looking forward to getting involved as an EDA and expanding my somewhat limited Jewel knowledge. If you're interested in learning how I fell in love with Jewel's music, please, do read on. I've been actively listening to Jewel for about a year and a half now, ever since attending school in the U.P. of Michigan. A good friend of mine in the dorms asked me to build an engine for his car, and I agreed to it. While building said engine in his dorm room (which brought a lot of attention), he would throw on POY and Spirit to listen to. I knew Jewel had a wonderful voice, but it wasnt until I really listened to the lyrics that I fell in love with the music. Since then, I've become more and more interested in Jewel and have bought a few albums. After learning more about Jewel from JewelJK, I must say that I have deep respect for her (I think it's obvious why). Well, I wont bore you much longer, so have a great day and don't stare at the moniter too long, it'll do funky stuff to your eyes, whew! Always smile!
