When "The View" went into commericial I flipped the channel to and caught most of Jewel's performance. Right when she was done I flipped back over to the view and barely caught the entire performance there. Did anyone else do this? As it turns out, to the best of our knowledge (MrBB and I), yes indeed TNT HAS scheduled a repeat of "Christmas In Washington" for 8:00pm ET on Thursday evening (tomorrow). It's a one hour long show, and Jewel performs both solo and with others throughout the entire show, so it is best to watch or tape the whole thing. ( Tip! Keep an eye out for a quick shot of Jewel's mother (Lenedra) during President Clinton's message near the end of the program). As usual, if you live in a time zone other than the Eastern US of A, please check your local listings for the air time of that program and the ones listed below. Also on tomorrow/Thursday: * MTV's Total Request Live - 3:30 to 5:00pm ET on MTV (taped today/Wednesday) * MTV's "Celebrity Deathmatch" - 8:00 to 8:30pm ET on MTV (repeat). This is a clay animation program where celebrities battle it out, usually to the "death". The clay Jewel (who recites poetry!) goes up against a playdoh Alanis in this episode, duking it out for a large canvas bag full of cash destined for a charity each combatant/artist selected. Fret not, it's NOT the EDA collection/donations for HGH ;-) Also, hilariously, in this episode the Three Tenors battle the Three Stooges :-) * The Fox Family channel's "TSO: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" - 10:00 to 11:00pm ET on the Family channel. This is a VERY interesting musical story/show (in my opinion) and is well worth watching. Jewel only performs once in it though. I was lucky enough to be at the View today. Yes...she got the card, I think between breaks and certainly seemed very touched and appreciative. We raised $4,000!! Yeah! Meredith Viera read part of it, but not all of it made it on the show. Jewel thanked everyone..and an EDA in front of me gave her a really nice gift and I got to give her a card (through the producer). She thanked everyone on the break. They put the few Jewel fans there in the front of the upper box. We all had signs and Jewel looked at them and said thank you. When she was leaving an EDA screamed out "Jewel I love you" and she turned and waved" before leaving. She looked great and did amazing as usual.
