At least a concert is better than none concerts at all. So i don't know why there hasn't been thought about another date to still let the concert happen. If i was a manager or a member of a team i had really considered more alternatives to let not too many fans down. I knew Jewel would have loved to give a concert for her alaskan native fans but now she doens't give a concert at all in december in alaska. So i really would set another date for the concert, so that the fans who had booked a flightticket wouldn't have lost all their money. When a concert is announced, you start making plans. And part of those plans are never because of your enthusiasm coverplans for the fact that it might be cancelled. you are so much looking forward to something that you forget building a securitypolicy in your plan. so now i have lost a lot of money, and this will i never let happen again. from my planeticket i certainly have lost 70% which is at least 700 dollars. So your dissapointment only develops in greater grief and anger. Jewel is not too blame, but i really had never expected this to happen. This is my last post about the topic, but it is still for me unbelievable that the concerts are cancelled. I'm from Alaska and I bought my tickets for Jewel's New Year's Eve concert right when they went on sale. I was so excited and my family had made a lot of plans for that day. When I found out she cancelled her concert, I went to my room and cried. I guess I had gotten myself so excited that I too had never considered the fact that it might be cancelled.
