It's a temporary problem with our email system. Should be fixed up soon. Keep trying & sorry for the inconvenience. Alan ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 Oct 1999 12:56:35 EDT From: ABershaw@aol.com Subject: * Christmas album on vinyl/"Sessions" musicians Hi all, I forget who asked if Jewel's Christmas album would be released on vinyl awhile back, but YES it will be available in all three formats(vinyl, CD & cassette). You can usually order the vinyl versions of Jewel's albums from any store that still carries records. Otherwise, most reputable CD stores can special order her albums in vinyl format. The tracklisting on the vinyl is identical to the CD & cassette versions. JewelTaper@aol.com (Julie) wrote asking: <> Hi Julie & others interested. I wasn't familiar with the mini-orchestra musicians (ie, the strings & reeds players), but I do know who the primary band & choir were: Conductor: Arif Marden Piano & Keyboards: Steve Skinner Guitars: Ira Siegal & Larry Saltzman Bass: Jerry Barnes Drums: Joe Marden (& conducting on a few songs) Percussion: Michael Hinton The choir consisted of the following voices: Tawatha Agee, Katreese Barnes, Angela Capelli, Dennis Collins, Nikki Gregoroff, Robbi Kumalo, Curtis King & Fonzi Thornton I'm sure almost everyone is aware of it by now, but a live version of "Life Uncommon" from the Sessions taping, featuring the above mentioned musicians, Jewel & MANY OF YOU is being released as a benefit single on Tuesday. All of Jewel's proceeds & a portion of record company proceeds will benefit Clearwater Project. You should educate yourself about this HGH project at: www.clearwaterproject.com. It should be a lot of fun, so if you'd like to come to either or both events (or would like to but need a ride), please email me and I'll let you know all the details. :) Hugs, Becca Blessed Be :) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 07 Oct 1999 21:46:47 +0200 From: Seyfhor Subject: * Jewel Silvester on German TV Hi, I just want to inform the german EDAs that Pro7 will show the concert at silvester 99.12.31 from 20:15 till 00:15. There is a way around it, especially if you do a lot of international mailing to one specific country. (1) Stamp shops (as in for collectors) often sell current mint condition foreign stamps at close to face value (if you buy in quantity). (2) Some countries' post offices sell stamps by mail, and some will sell outside their country although you may pay a little extra for postage. Either way, it's finacially better and more fun than using IRC's. Sending a foreigner stamps from their own country -- what a concept!
