Our dear Jewel has a tummy. there's really nothing that can hide it, not the girdles,( I have the "instant tummy tucker" and the "invisible body tuck") and still you can see that damn tummy. Only probably a good lipo or 4 hours of really good abdominals for about 6 months every day, weekends included, will get rid of it. Nothing wrong with that...we "tummy girls" just have , well, more tummy ..jajajaja what you can do is play with the clothes ...nothing to tight and nothing to big (big invites the tummy to be free and grow) ...so my friends...she ain't pregnant, she very well pointed this out in one of her "if I could tell he world just one thing it would be...I have a tummy, I don't work out like the other divas, but Steve doesn't have a tummy..show 'em your belly Steve..." thank God she's regular and human...makes my tummy happy :) Lucky Dog Angel. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Sep 1999 00:35:21 -0400 From: "Soul Redeemer" Subject: Re: * RE: is Jewel Pregnant? I COULD HAVE DIED! she claimed she didn't recognize her at first, but please! there are pictures papering the walls all over my side of the room! come on! i was so mad i had to leave the room or i'd blow up on her. ya'll might not think it's a big deal, but she's like that anyway. SO point is: is it coming on again? or did anyone tape it? or do you have to buy merle's whole cd to get the song? (i like him and all, saw him in dallas last new years eve, but still!) so fill me in. or at least post a list, anybody who knows ANYTHING! oh, and i did catch a glimpse of jewel's belly and i think she looks fine. healthy, that's all. anyway, whoever said that about her not being a size 3 but being beautiful was right! oh, and merle haggard is lethargic-sounding all the time, i didn't hear him, but i'm pretty sure that's just him like in Billy Bob's of Texas last year (don't laugh, it was a cotton bowl trip). so anyway, you guys who haven't gotten it before, i'm DeloresJK on AIM, and 29017334 on icq. talk to ya'll later! love, sarah 'the kickin' angel' ps. debbie do you hate me??? ===== "Love bravely, live bravely, be courageous. there's really nothing to lose. there's no wrong you can't make right again..." --Jewel ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Sep 1999 02:14:05 +0000 From: JH Subject: * re:Opera? Lots of women have slight stomachs, which personally I think is sexy. Ours bodies are supposed to be curvy, and although we do come in different shapes and sizes, too many women punish their bodies into society provided ideals. This isn't a lecture, but I suspect at the ripe old age of 24 I am older than many who read this, and I've been the pre-prepubescent skinny girl, the puppy fat teenager, to the curvaceous (and happy) person I am now. I've lately been taught how they do it, and the main part of it is... :) Pushing out your stomach to make room for the voice. Someone asked for pictures of Jewel at CMA. Well, head to the official site, they have 2 pictures (small ones, but you'll get the idea). I dont remember the URL, just search for 'Country Music Awards' in Yahoo... Over here in Germany (Europe in general I guess) country is rather rare, only Shania selling her pop music (Btw. Is it just me, or is country all about, sorry about the following, hot looking women (babes, if you're not offended) and guys with way too tight pants? :-). But the duet sounds ok, not excellent though. It stands no chance against her duets with Ed McCain or Melissa Etheridge. Once I'm posting: Is there a recording of the 'Sue Lee Song'? The one Jewel wrote for RWTD but that was not used. She performed it somewhere in Japan I think, the only time as far as I know. Was it recorded or will we never hear this song? And to all you out there who really think about Jewel being 'pregnant', you are paranoid :-). Someone makes a silly comment (sorry, someone) and you even start to think about it... Hello everyone, I just can`t take it anymore. Why do we, the EDAs...the people who supposedly love Jewel so much...say such negative things about her? I, personally, think everyone has the right to think what they want about her performances. But, why are people being so darned critical about the way she looks...especially something as silly as her tiny belly. Women are curvy and beautiful. Why does the world automatically think that just because a woman in the lyme (or is it lime?) light has a wee little stomach, that she`s pregnant? I`m pregnant right now (big grin) and I wish my tummy was back to the small size it was. It was there, but it most definately wasn`t something to fret about. Jewel, IMHO, looked so healthy, so beautiful and so happy at the award show. Just imagine how she would feel reading some of these posts. I would hope that she would be strong enough to laugh them off, but she`s said herself in interviews that the negative comments can eat her up. I remember once reading her response to the question "What is the biggest thing that you`ve accomplished to date?". Do you know what she said? That getting through the day without being depressed is her greatest accomplishment. Think about it people. BEFORE your next post. If you don`t have anything nice to say, don`t say anything at all.... 4ever, Shannon xo ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Sep 1999 06:30:41 -0700 (PDT) From: Jeff Subject: * RE: is Jewel Pregnant?
