Well, barely. On Pg. 40, there is a box thing called "Hits beginning to look a lot like christmas" and it talks about all of the Christmas Albums coming out. There very last one is jewel and it says: FOR LILITH LASSES: A still-untitled traditional Xmas record from Jewel, right(nov.2) Well, it is titled, so I wrote them telling them they made a mistake. =) and, what do they mean by "right"? My dad sat with her, Skeet and Toby at dinner, and said the movie was ok, but that Toby made an extremely well performance in it. I managed to tape it and have just finished watching it. Although there was no information supplied about which concert it was (ie no credits, etc), I gathered it was the Madrid concert which was shown in Europe a little while ago because I recognised the songs from the Aussie Bonus Live CD edition of Spirit. They alotted 2hrs to the program but the concert only went for about 1hr+. They spent another 20+ mins after the concert showing *every* (not really that many when you think about it!)Jewel video clip - including Jupiter. The concert was quite good although the crowd did not seem to be getting into it too much (I dunno, just my opinion). The visual side was very good with lots of different angles and a wide coverage of Jewel, Steve and the band. Jewel was looking very nice, kind of similar to her outfit at the Melbourne concert with the 'right' amount of makeup and lovely hair (for those of you who care...). The audio side of things was not so good though with the mixing not quite right (at times it sounds like someone has just taken a portable camcorder in!). This must be because either the cable company stuffing up on the sound side, or the mixing on this video being bad because on the bonus live CD the sound and mixing is alot better. Finally saw the 'Jupiter' video and I've gotta say I wasn't happy. The marketing/advertising executives (or Jewel herself) have got it wrong with this new video clip/image. Tacky coloured lighting? Random images? 'Sexpot' Jewel? What? Give me back 'Down-to-earth Folkie' Jewel anyday. Watch the 'Who Will Save Your Soul' or 'You Were Meant for Me' video then watch the new 'Jupiter' video and you would hardly think it's the same person!
