Hi folks :-) I just got back from my local Circuit City store (USA) and saw that they had that special "AustralAsian" Spirit CD which has the extra CD ROM for computer play. It was going for $20.99. In addition to the 14 tracks on Spirit, unless I'm mistaken, the extra CD ROM has a live version of Deep Water (audio only), some radio interviews, an article or two, and the full videos of Hands and Down So Long, which I've been told are pretty good quality. (There may be more on this CD ROM, but I am not sure) So, if you've been wanting this special edition CD and there's a Circuit City near you, get a hoppin'! :-) Mike :-) * If you are new to the Jewel list and need a helping hand, * or have a burning question about Jewel and/or the list, * The Jewel/EveryDay Angels List Homepage & Guide is at: * http://www.quackquack.net/jewel * Many basic/common Jewel and list questions can be answered there :-) * * If you can't find the answer on the page have any list related * questions, please feel free to email me at ducksoup@quackquack.net * or you can IM me on either of the AOL names below: * DuckOfPrey or WhyADuck55 and/on AOL or AOL Instant Messenger ------------------------------ Date: 27 Aug 99 17:47:21 MDT From: Tim Male Subject: * In need of Angel Food... AUSTRALIANS?!?! I'm sorry, that email was way out of line. I live in ISRAEL. Meaning- hard to reach the Cds, Singles are out of the question. No Jewel shows. not every EDA agrees to trade with me (though many are sweet and do) COME ON! No one gets "more Jewel" than others. It's all how you look at it. If you want to be bitter, you'll fing a way, and via versa. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents, that email ticked me off a bit :) === ~*~*~"If music be the food of love-play on!" I was surfing the net looking for Jewel sites to add to my website when I came across a Geocities site with Jewel and it said she did two musicals: She was in Rent (unknown character) and she was Lola in Damn Yankees at small town theaters. My initial reaction: "what the he**?!?!" Can anyone verify this?? On a somewhat related topic, if anyone has the soundtracks to Rent and/or Damn Yankees and could make me a copy , I'd pay for all expenses. Hurricane Dennis is a temporary pain in the *ss, whereas I have a permanent gig with this list! :-) And while I do normally pose a threat only to the northeastern areas, I have recently struck as far south as San Diego, Houston and New Orleans! I think they meant to say that at one point in her life, Jewel was short on rent & her band soundchecked the Kinks song "Lola" once. ;-) Alan ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V4 #514 ***************************
