On Fridays (late arvo) they list all video clips being played that weekend as well as the "Top 50". As far as I know they haven't played the Jupiter clip. As for the radio, can't say, all I know is I've been hearing DSL alot lately. http://www.abc.net.au/rage/rage.htm I did hear the new album will be released here November 9th; same as the "Spirit" album, its a worldwide release. For those with Pay TV access this appears in the September guide on Channel [V]. Sunday September 12, at 8:30pm (EST) Mainstage: Jewel; Live in concert. "Catch Jewel on stage as she performs a wide selection of her greatest hits" In the program guide its got the program running for two hours (until 10:30) however on their website http://www.channelv.com.au they say it runs for one hour, so go figure. OK... so maybe I'm not aware of it... but has there anywere been an EDA gathering... where there have been more than 300 people present... and that Jewel wasn't there??? Like let's take this year's Bearsville reunion... I haven't been there... (for only one reason... I live in central Europe... and I can't afford such a long trip... )... but I doubt there were more than 50 people there... half that would've been nice... well Sean went... so it's historic for something... nevermind the money... I swear I was that -><- close to sending a dollar... like a replacement for me not being able to go... and had a good feeling Sean would enjoy it... however I didn't see him write to the list anything about the experience (I hope I didn't miss it... cause I'll dig back if I did)... although I think he made it pretty clear that nothing can compare to Jewelstock...but not just him... compared to last years... I think there was much less hype... less posts... why is that??? GEEEEEZ--- I strayed... I do think that EDA gatherings work cause of people... and even such gathering as Jewelstock worked cause of people... the special people for whom the concert was held... but EDAs didn't come to Jewelstock to meet other people... they USED Jewelstock to meet other people... love they had for the artist brought everybody together to enjoy the special performance it was held in their honour and also get better connected with this "family" we're in... so you know "2 flies"---- Without Jewel it just doesn't work to the same extent... without Jewel this list would never have happened... so it's not true... we need Jewel to function as a family... it doesn't have to be about Jewel... what we do, say or whatever (although it usually is - at least a part of it)... but without her this would be almost pointless... it wouldn't be the same without our common denominator... it would be just like running into some people on the bus-stop... you never know what to expect... I SAY... WE NEED JEWEL!!! Cause well yeah JewelStock was so special for all the EDAs there... but they came cause she was there for them!!! I'm backing Sean for having faith in "JewelStock The Return" even though if it did happen I would most probably have no means of getting there... but I would be happy nevertheless... (cause at least new tapes would be made! :)) I believe that if enough work is put into it, it is possible... now some mention there is too many of us now... Sean made a point about this... but I think he was being very careful... it's pretty unlikely that 1000 people form the list would actually make it... but still, 2000 is huge... but not impossible... only down side is that you can't meet everybody!!! :))))) The other thing that was mentioned is leaking information... and people flooding this list... I'm pretty sure Mike could handle the problem (perheps closing down the subscriptions for the period where reservations for tickets were made or something)... of course I'm not saying there aren't other ways of handling that.... I just can't think of anything else now... because the problem of leakage is huge... cause unfrtunately people tend to be mean... it would be in our best interest not to tell anybody... but there's always somebody who won't be able to go that gets jealous and ruins it for everybody... or for any other reason... there are other ways of leaking of course... so I'm kinda puzzled about the press... but still if tickets can only be made through here... and if measures were taken... I think that it can be done... however it would take a careful planning from all sides involved... and I can't believe there's not a single way that this could be done!!! Back to present time... I know it won't happen soon... for those of you who think her popularity will die (or is dying) down... well unless it dies pretty quickly it's a flat chance of that happening... cause I can already hear the awesome Conan O'Brien say: IN THE YEAR TWOOOOOOOOOOOO THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUSAAAAAAAAND In the year 2000 Jewel will release a new album filled with great rock songs and will outsell Alanis' JLP! Why can't we have a PoltzStock? I think it would be fun? Think about it..Steve has about the same amount of fans now, then when Jewel did during the Jewelstock days.
