I really want Jewel's new CD: Bits and Baubles that was released exclusively at Target. The problem is there isn't a Target in my area. I live in Huntsville, Alabama, and if anyone nearby (who has access to a Target store) would be so kind as to get me a CD, I could send you money for it, and I would be very grateful. Please e-mail me if you would be willing to do this. Thank you. One or two comments in the list are since dated, esp. as I just put my Jewel page up this afternoon. However, here it is, enjoy .. Hullo, fellow EDAs.. I am new to the list/group, but no stranger to Jewel's music. I first ran across her gifted voice when she starred as Dorothy in that benefit concert of _The Wizard of Oz_ -- a discovery that prompted to run out and snatch up _Pieces of You_. Recently (last Wed. -- the 4th -- actually..), I had the opportunity to finally see Ms. Kilcher live and what a treat it was ('specially considering I was still on a high from Sunday's premiere of her appearance on VH-1's _Storytellers_). I look forward to being as active a member as time/work permits. I hope to make friends through the list, and who knows where it can go from there. A request, too: If anyone went to the Aug. 4th show, could you please e-mail the set-list? I was so into the show I forgot to jot them down. It would be most helpful for my concert review, on my Jewel page (coming soon.. Just about done.. It will be mentioned here as soon as it goes up..). And, if anyone wants to trade (I don't want money), I have an extra Target magazine featuring Jewel. E-mail me if interested. Cheers.. Dominick Cericola All-Around Groovy Guy and Proprietor of.. She said "I have the whole ad planned out" And she smiles and pretends she's holding a tube of >tooth paste beside her face and she says "Hi, I'm Jewel if you can't have straight teeth at >least have clean teeth, use Crest." But she said, "They haven't gotten back to me yet though." Everyone >started laughing and cheering it was very funny. So I had a thought. Why shouldn't she be a spokesperson for Crest? Crest doesn't compete with Tommy girl. What I thought would be really neat would be to see if EDA's had the power to make something like that happen. I think we do. So I found where to give feed back to Procter & Gamble, who makes Crest Toothpaste. I encourage everyone to write them requesting they use Jewel as a spokesperson in a commercial. We are competing with the mindless masses to get Jewel played on TRL and that is hard, but this is something we really have a chance of making happen. In fact, I'd like to see Jewel on the tube of Crest so that when I brush my teeth she is the first person I see in the morning and the last at night.
