Well, I have to admit, it IS hard to be a foreign EDA. I don't know about the europeans, but here Is Israel, hardly anyone even knows who Jewel IS, not to mention what it takes to get a cd (they don't even bother bringing the singles.) So when Americans talk about meeting Jewel or such and take it sort of for granted, It DOES tend to get on my nerves. However, I have to say that most people are great about it- I have a mass collection of angelfood tapes thanks to people that were kind enough to trade me or send me tapes. It's hard to be so far from the "center of the activity" so to speak, but I think the other EDAs do the best they can to help, so I really can't complain, and I don't think there is reason too.
