There will also be other European dates scheduled in addition to some replacement dates in Zurich, Spain & Italy. It's far too soon to give you any specifics at this point, but I thought you'd appreciate knowing she will be back this year. Check the website calendar for updates as more information becomes confirmed. Also, Congratulations to all the EDAs who have been contacted by VH1! If you submitted an entry, check your email carefully. Most contact is being done via email & the subject line simply says "Jewel" or something to that effect. The contact is coming from a temporary MTV address, so don't be confused by that. They share offices. Get those replies in asap as per the instructions they send you. Everyone who has been invited has been contacted via email or phone already. Two different mailings went out yesterday from MTV/VH1 headquarters. Each contained a partial list of invitees. Thanks to the watchful eye of your moderator Mike, he noticed several email addresses that were incorrectly transcribed. I've crossreferenced the two invitation lists with the original list & personally emailed those people with the needed info. So everyone who made the invitation list has been officially contacted via phone call or correct email address. Also, they have not cancelled the "chat sequence with Jewel" as some have speculated to me privately. This should be another fun experience for The EDAs & I look forward to meeting many more of you! I have still not gotten over the inability of these stupid producers/coordinators to be more considerate of the west coast EDAs. Why should I gripe if I can just catch it on TV? It's just not the same! Why would one want to buy generic Q-tips if they could get the real thing for the same price? (heh) Maybe I am making too much of this, but I seriously am dissapointed.
