However, her true angelic, gorgeous face with its full features and soft colors came out in its true colors in the Down So Long video. Only the part where shes in the woods and its snowing. If that video had been all that scene (or style rather), it would've been her best yet. I find that she looks more beautiful in photoshoots: Such as her picture in OutrageoUS (a book of all pictures taken from US magazine) Oh, and for JewelTV she was gorgeous, the hair, the clothes(modern and sexy) ...Everything just how I like it...or, rather, just how i love it! =) Jeff~TheRomanticAngel~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I WILL NEVER FIND SOMEONE QUITE LIKE YOU AGAIN..." ~VAST ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Apr 1999 00:16:29 -0400 From: Paul Schreiber Subject: Re: "Solo" book featuring Jewel Christine wrote: >Was just looking through Jeweljk and was wondering if anyone has bought or >read the book Solo about female singers and songwriters that features Jewel >among other artists such as Sheryl crow and Ani DiFranco.. if so is it good? >interesting? insightful into the music biz and songwriting? I got "Solo: Women Singer-Songwriters in their Own Words" (by Marc Woodworth with photos by Emma Dodge Hanson) last year. It's a great book. It's very well written and Emma's photos are excellent and lend a unique softness to the artists. The stories themselves are, of course, what make the book. I found the diversity of the singers' backgrounds really interesting. basically, i highly recommend this. Hey I was wondering is any other EDAs got the Higher Ground For Humanity catalog, "The Backpack That Was Flat (and other incredibly neat things)" put out by Jewel and Nedra. I was going to order from it and I wanted to know what others thought of the products (I love the tea set!). Thanks. - -Karen *The Ouspoken Angel* **I ask you why you come here, you say just because. (and if you're not. . .well too bad! I love ya anyways!) So. . .here's what I've got . . . 1. It was really amazing (and I'm sure the people who have been there know) how the students are so closely tied together but still far apart. . .you understand? I was amazed at how nice they all were! 2. The place is kinda freaky at the first look. . .the first night i was only there for a few hours and i judged too soon (i was ready to go home that night) went back the next day and it was like "WOW I really need this places . . . " 3. Yes I did pull out the ol' '92 yearbook. . .(being the Jewel fanatic that I am. . .I even went on a search for her sculpture! AND YES I DID FIND IT thanks to the nice people at Interlochen!) Also. . .she was there for 3 school years. . .but she wasn't pictured in the others only '92 4. Also. . .WHO ELSE IS THINKING ABOUT INTERLOCHEN? please email me if ya are. . .or if ya go to summer camp or anything! 5. there was a family there for "Info week" from Anchorage (spellcheck please?), Alaska. . .and noticed a few Seniors from there too! Thought that was neat! PS! humm. . .Ben. . .I forgot to putcha on my buddy list & was forced to get off my computer the other night 'cause it wasn't agreeing with me! so email me doll! ANYMORE questions? comments? kisses? please email the little pixie! *Cara* Theatrical Angel In love with Interlochen ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Apr 1999 16:53:06 PDT From: "Jess Smith" Subject: tab request!
