Did any other Australians see Steve Poltz on Recovery on Saturday? ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Apr 1999 16:28:20 +1000 From: "Christine Diefenbach" Subject: Small stupid Jewel article-Melbourne Dunno if anyone's posted this yet but i was flipping through some old newspapers at a friends house today and in the Herald Sun (Victoria, Australia) I found a snippet on Jewel in the celebrity spotlight part or something like that.... Its one of those little celebrity gossip columns in the arts and entertainment section.. Its about her teeth.. Obviously these people had nothing better to do. Its short, its stupid and a badly written little article but thought some of you may be interested anyway just to know what's being written about her... TEETH ARE JEWEL'S Singer Jewel is aware there's a certain part of her body that some people think is not too pretty and may need fixing up. "My teeth," she says in seventeen magazine. "When I was younger my dad couldn't afford to pay for dental work." Now she's rich and famous she can afford the smile of a supermodel, but she says: "Now I don't really mind the way they look - I'm so used to it" "But dentists tell me that I could do further damage to my mouth if I don't fix them." What do they mean by further damage to her mouth anyway? Do they just mean that her teeth will get more crooked or do they actually mean her "mouth"... Geez can't you just imagine Jewel getting braces... She'd end up with even more of a complex about opening her mouth when smiling. ok bye all Chris ~the acoustic, painting angel just below the ceiling~ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Apr 1999 22:01:39 +0800 From: "Peiling" Subject: Jewel's Singapore TV appearance clip Hi all!
