Is there maybe a fan who can tell us something more ? maybe Mike or Alan can post and inform us EDA's how this new project have been going ... I would love to know if the new video will be relaesed soon or will we have to wait patiently to march to see this video ? will Jewel release it before she is going down under? i would love to know some other european venues as well . i am curious to find out where she will perform in Holland, Belgium and France in may / june 99. is there anybody who can give some information ??? so far Jewel has only been once in Holland on TV...it was back in 1997 singing her smash song YWMFM....will she come to a dutch tvshow once again ????? When i read that she is going to Spain again, than i think that' okay but in the end you want to see Jewel again in your own country.. Her single Hands has done in Holland not extremely well. Her album is still selling okay...not spectacular......but you can find her first cd's and her new album Spirit very easily....when i read the info from Turkey than that is really a strange country that you can't buy the first album poy.....i think that is very strange !!! greetings, Michiel http://members.xoom.com/Jewelimpala/index.html ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 31 Jan 1999 14:23:15 -0000 From: "Isabel Ferreira" Subject: Re: Jewel's popularity in Europe Here in Portugal it's almost impossible to hear anything at all about Jewel. I mean, some people know "Follish Games", "Who will save your soul" and "Hands", but nothing more. I only got to know more about her since I started searching in the Internet. Maybe if her songs were played on the radio more often it'd be different - I don't know... I'm sure that she could sure need more advertisement over here. Oh! And I don't even need to mention that I can't easily get angelfood - I had to go through a lot of stores to find POY and Spirit. Please e-mail me if you would like to use a MIDI. :-) MIDIs coming next: Barcelona, 1,000 Miles Away, Painters, and Adrian. - --------------begin announcement about Barcelona----------------- I've decided that I've e-mailed the list a lot (though I'm not the only one..*cough*) with updates to my site, and it's actually getting to be ridiculous. (sp). I've set up an e-mail list with updates to my website. From now on (I hope), all updates to my web site will be posted to this mailing list, and if someone wishes to use a MIDI on their on page, they will need to be on this list, as well. (Don't you want to know about a new wallpaper or MIDI, or even real audio angelfood (speaking of which, does anyone have any requests? I can put tapes into real audio now) as soon as it comes out?) Anyway--go to this page, it's really simple to subscribe and unsubscribe. I also suggest for other sites to get an updates list for their page as well. YES, I do want to produce a Volume 4 & continue this series. Most likely Volume 4 will be released later this year. I hope to have it available FREE through the kindness of the AFB volunteers again. Volume 4 will likely be a 90 minute tape consisting of one side Joy Eden Harrison & the other side Lisa Sanders and will be compiled from the archived recordings from last summers' Living Room Tour. There's some wonderful material available, but I haven't actually assembled anything yet. I originally planned to have this available already, but my J-Team related activities have monopolized most of my time these past few months & with Joy's wonderful new album "Unspoken" being released in a few weeks, we chose not to coincide with her album release. But I will assemble a Future Folklore Volume 4 & it will happen later this year. In the meantime, I hope those that have FF 1, 2 & 3 are still enjoying them! Volume 3 is still available anytime from your friends at the AFB & they will soon have Vol 1 & 2 available again for all who missed them along with a few other "classic list tapes". Watch for their forthcoming post about it or visit the AFB at: http://www.angelfoodbank.org/ Thank you to those who asked about Future Folklore! Well, I REALLY like the idea. I think it would be very very kewl. I just wanted to say though, that if we actually do make them, please have them sent to EDAs outside america as well... I never get anything where I live, it's too complicated, and I know of a few more frustrated Israelis on the list. Anyway, my idea is for the line rather the design on the shirt... I think the following will do nicely: "There is a new army coming, and we are armed with faith" (life uncommon-Spirit) Also, about having the angel names on it-it just seems to complicated-think reality-how can you do that? when you make a shirt, you make ,any of the same kind. If each is somehow different, it could get complicated. It is a nice idea though :) Loads of Love, Abby A rare angel lost among you {\o/} /_\ ~*~Dance like no one is watching and love like you've never been hurt~*~ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 31 Jan 1999 12:07:19 -0500 From: mp0820 Subject: Wings Hey I don't rember who said it but I think the idea with the angel wings is really a good idea b/c they don't sell wings at a concerts but they do sell tee shirts and you could get wings anywhere and you would stand out. - -Megan ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 31 Jan 1999 10:35:52 -0500 (EST) From: Jennie Anderson Subject: My thoughts on t-shirts >Here is my opinion on Tee-shirts >Its a wonderful idea I would love to have one and we should organize , >its great !
