I was reading the last digest, and noticed a couple posts about Jewel and Marilyn Manson, one asking if it were true that she wanted to do a duet. Well, I was listening to the 24-hour news radio station 1010 WINS, and they stated that Jewel had announced that she wants to do a duet with Marilyn Manson. I, for one, applaud Jewel's diversity. She considers Marilyn Manson an honest, real person, with which I agree, and she wants to collaborate with him. Though a duet between the two would be pretty interesting to say the least, I hope it comes through. I like how she mentioned he and her are two different sides on the same coin and that they just want to help people learn to be themselves and stand up for that. And the golden retriever thing? didn't happen. Marilyn Manson isn't a sick guy and he wouldn't sacrifice animals onstage or off. People tend to sensationalize what he does just because they don't like his shows or his ideas to manipulate the media. Believe me for I am a fan and I hear all about his shows, been to a few myself. He's not sick as people seem to say and even if he was why shouldn't Jewel be a fan? And if she was, what business is it of yours? Nobody on this list can really change her opinions of others or her likes in music. as well as nobody else in the world. Yes, I know I sent two e-mails to the same issue of the digest. I just didn't think that this and the Manson post would be appropriate to meld. Anyway, I ordered the limited edition print from JMerch that Jewel personally singed and numbered. The catalog said that it was printed on Bamboo paper, that it would come with framing instructions, and that it would be out of a limited printing of 500. When the print arrived, it was 209 out of 1000, not 500, did not come with any instructions, and was printed on archival paper, not bamboo paper. Did anyone else who ordered the print notice this? And does anyone have the e-mail address for JMerch? It's too late to report this discrepancy now, but I at least want to find out what happened.
