Hey people, since Jewel has this new video out and stuff, EVERYBODY go to www.mtv.com and vote for it for total request... maybe this video can finally knock off the Backstreet boys & N Sync which have been #1/#2 for like 6months it seems... ugh :) BTW, I just saw the clip on the atlantic site and was surprised to see it was the COMPLETE video, and not like a crapy 30sec clip... even though you can't really save it to view offline or anything. I think it was pretty cool, cept I don't like that dark & dreary stuff much.. I like to be able to see what is going on and not have to squint and stuff heeh... I just saw Jewel's video on MTV, and I want to say that it is wonderful. It is very inspirtaional and well made. It fits the song marvelouslly and of course Jewel looks great in it. It reminded me alot of Tori Amos' Hey Jupiter video, where she is riding around in a car, while fire engines are outside putting out a fire. Hey peeps :-) I just saw in next week's TV Guide that this Sunday (November 1st) at 11:00pm EST on the Warner Brothers channel, Jewel's Hard Rock Live special will be broadcast. (check your local listings for other time zones) This is the same show that originally aired on VH1 in the spring of 1997 and was repeated many times on VH1....the Warner Brothers channel has been airing the 1997 Hard Rock Live series at 11 pm each Sunday this season. First is first, ALL CANADIAN EDA'S WHO WANT TO SEE HANDS tune into Much Mega hits. On Much on Demand because I've been sending them several e-mails begging them to play it. But I just saw it on Much Mega Hits [why did they put it on much mega hits? It has only been out a day! How is it a Mega hit already?] anyhow, I thought it was brilliant. But you know what I though was one really brilliant thing? This video Proved to me that jewel can act. And now I am REALLY Dieing to see "Ride with a Devil". The video is amazing! Jewel's acting is awesome! Wow. Also, local radio stations here in Alberta have been playing Angel Standing By on a fairly regular basis. Has anyone else heard it on the radio? Why would this be? And one more thing! I ordered POY from a music club [BMG] for a friend and the little angel wing thing that jewels in on the cover is green! Not like really green, like a blue/green colour. At first I thought I was seeing things, then I compared it to my copy, there was definitely a very noticeable green tinge to it! Thats all!
