Its going to contain the same songs as the European release, those being Innocence Maintained and Stranger Enter From the East. Don't know if they will be the exact same versions though as the lady I spoke to said that Innocence Maintain was an acoustic version where I thought someone posted the European release that Stranger...... was going to be an acoustic version, maybe she got it round the wrong way.....dunno. I think the only person who can answer your question is Jewel herself. >From what she has written and said in interviews, I get the impression Jewel is a bit ambiguous on the subject, though it appears a bit less so of late. This is one of the many things I looking forward to on "Spirit", to see whether her views have changed in the new songs or not and how she balances that with what is in "Deep Water" and "Innocence Maintained" as we know them at the moment. Of course, different people have different interpretations of what Jewel says about spirit and religion, depending on whether they believe in any god or God or not. As an atheist myself I see and appreciate and feel empathy with what I take to be Jewel's godless spirituality. But, as you say, she does refer to "God" a lot these days. Nevertheless, just as there are "as many gods as there are flowers", there are also as many concepts of "God" too and what Jewel means by "God" may not be exactly what many Christians, Jews or Muslims, or atheists, believe. But you'd have to ask Jewel that too.
