Hi peeps, Sender: owner-jewel@smoe.org Precedence: bulk Some of you may have heard of these before, but there's a cool little egg in Microsoft Word 97. Start Word, create a new document, then type: "I love Jewel" without the quotes. Highlight that and then hold down SHIFT and press F7. Look at what it says!!! Thought it was kinda cool.... enjoy! This international event organized by the Center for Marine Conservation is important on many levels - the obvious being cleaner beaches for the public to enjoy. More important, participants record what they find and this information is compiled by the CMC to be used as statistics to influence legislation pertaining to conservation of our oceans, marine life, and beaches. SO WHAT CAN I DO, you ask? Well, this Saturday is the beach cleanup day. For anyone in or around New Jersey, please join me at Long Beach Island. We should meet at 12 noon at Bayview Park, Branch Beach. There will be a rally with cake and soda, raffles, and speakers. Then they will hand out the supplies we will need (trash bags, data cards, etc.). When you return your data cards (telling what you've found on the beach), you will receive a coupon for a FREE Brita pitcher. ANYONE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING, PLEASE E-MAIL ME IMMEDIATELY! I'm hoping to get at least half a dozen EDAFers, EDA's, and friends to come out. If you need more info, you can also contact Carol Elliot at the Alliance for a Living Ocean - 609-492-0222. You can also call me at 201-222-0741 in the evening or e-mail me for directions or other info. There is a lot more info about other related events that I've received, but I will go into those later on. THIS WILL BE A LOT OF FUN - PLEASE COME!! amy :-) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Sep 1998 23:09:23 EDT From: HBANGER70@aol.com Subject: video comp Is anyone offering a video compilation with Jewel tv stuff etc. please email me!!!
