Hi folks :-)

Mike Connell here, from my AOL address.

As most of you know, the Jewel list is a fully moderated list. I "run" it from
my ducksoup@Spectra.Net account.

Well, good ol' Spectra Net has been having problems since about 8pm last
evening, and I still cannot log on to that account this morning.

So that means that the Jewel list won't be operating until at least when I get
home from work at about 6pm eastern USA time tonight. (assuming the stooges at
Spectra Net have a good day and manage to fix the problem ;-)

Just wanted to let you all know as to why you haven't received any Jewel list
mail for a while. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause any of you.

The other smoe.org lists that I manage should be operating fine during this
period, as they are not moderated.
