Howdy EDAs, so glad I subscribed to the digest...! Does anyone know whether there's a video collection - or a concert video? I've been browsing all over the place, but I haven't found anything like it, so I suppose nothing's been released so far. Unfortunately. Sadly. Hope you folks have a splendid day! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Aug 1998 10:00:04 EDT From: TJtalken@aol.com Subject: Movie Set Stuff and NJC: Kansas LRT Hi. Just wanted to keep the masses informed that the Kansas City Area is hopping with people trying to make a buck (dollar or two) from the Ride with the Devil filming here, that would be the movie that Jewel just acted in, that is in post-production now. The hype has begun a little already here in Lawrence with Civil War lectures and displays. Not only that but my parents bought a plate made in Germany that was used in the movie So while your out here buying things that Jewel might have touched in the movie, come on over visit the town that the movie is based on, and check out the Lawrence, Kansas Living Room Tour show. That would be on AUGUST 26th at 8:00 with, you guessed it, Joy Eden Harrison and Lisa Sanders. So rarely do San Diegoians (is that a word?) make it out to the plains of Kansas! Stoked that she got Ani tickets today! I am compiling a list of links to all the EDA personal homepages out there. I will then put that list on my page, and send it to all the other EDAs with homepages so they can put it on their pages. This will increase everybody's hits, and also make it easier for other EDAs to browse through the pages and get to know everybody better. So, if you have a personal homepage about yourself and your interests, please email me the address. If you have already sent me the address, thanks a bunch. I'll give everybody a few days to reply with their URLs, and then I will have a finished list. You should all have the finished list in your inbox within a week. I'm fairly new to the list (never posted) and when I read the post asking about favorite poems from ANWA I just had to write. First of all I wanted to say what a great place the EDA's have here! Jewel is such an inspiration to me and I enjoy her music, playing it on guitar etc. but when I got ANWA I was even more inspired as I have kept a journal for years, and enjoy writing and reading poetry. So to answer the question asked by Karyn, my favorite poems are "As A Child I Walked", "Pretty", and "So Just Kiss Me" to name a few. They are all wonderful! Peace 2 U all, Carol an "ArtisticAngel" if that name's not taken. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Aug 1998 22:51:03 EDT From: Stevie3103@aol.com Subject: 60 Seconds Album Review of POY on VH1 The other night i saw the :60 Album Review, which was on VH1 and they did it on POY. I didn't know who the guy that was giving the review was. He talked about POY and said very good things about it. He talked about when she started writing her music. Does anyone know who this guy is?
