(It was to possibly have been on the Sunday before too) I would guess it's quite likely that CBS will air it, it's just that no one will know exactly WHEN it will air. People are writing in to the list asking for tape dubs of it, or "what happened to the Jewel thingy on CBS This Morning??", and all anyone can say is keep on checking the show on Sunday mornings until it airs. Of course we still have the MTV FANatic thing with an EDA (Sarah) "interviewing" Jewel on *tonight* at 11:00pm ET, and the long awaited airing of the Oprah segment Jewel taped over a month ago. That is scheduled to air on Wednesdays' Oprah show. Check your local listings for station and airtime. Hi all, I've recieved several emails telling me various programming websites (including Rock On TV) do not have Jewel scheduled for MTV FANatic tonight. Regardless of what you see on these various websites, Jewel & Sarah's episode will be on tonight at 11PM. I even called MTV to confirm this earlier today. Oprah is still scheduled for Wednesday & I'd advise setting VCRs for CBS Sunday Morning over the next several weeks. Her segment will turn up on one of these coming Sundays. Also,I know we have several fans of Joy Eden Harrison here & I just spoke to Cindy Lee Berryhill, who's producing Joy's new (2nd) album. Things are going very well & everyone is pretty excited about this project, especially me! For musicians, Joy's primarily using her regular pianist John Erickson & drummer Jeff Dalrymple, but they are augmented by Garage Orchestra bassist Chris Davies & a 3 piece string section including G.O. cellist Renatta Bratt. They mentioned trying to have a small run of "advance CDs" available toward the end of next month, to coincide with a Living Room Tour she'll be embarking on with Lisa Sanders in late August. Hello Everyone, I just joined this so bear with me. But I've been a fan of Jewel since her Cd came out and I listened to it for the first time. I really want to get her book also and as for what Kurt Loder says about that book.. Poetry is what you feel in your heart, not what other people make out of it. It's a way to release your feelings and thoughts. So if someone else doesn't respect that because it doesn't make sense to them then they don't have an open mind. Also, Congrats to the girl who got to meet Jewel on Fanatic that would be so awesome!!! I just think it would be great to see her perform I was suppose to go to one of her concerts but an emergency came up so I couldn't get the tickets *pout* But I WILL SEE HER EVENTUALLY!!! :):) Well I'm glad I can be apart of this see ya around.. Smalltown Girls Forget the sound of the city - these days, rock'n'roll is a boondocks affair. Phil Sutcliffe rounds up the big stars from the backwoods. IT COULD BE A SYNDROME. IT COULD BE NO MORE THAN coincidence. But while today's rappers inevitably hail from urban ghettos, the majority of North America's rockin' new female singer-songwriters come from small towns.
