I've been working hard on my first ever homepage I've made. And, it's dedicated to Jewel's songs. Yes, her SONGS. You see, I love all of her music and my favorites aren't talked about much. So I decided to research them and come up with a lot of information about each one. It takes awhile to do each song, so there aren't that many there already. But, you will get the idea. And, plus, you can learn more about me and find out why I love Jewel so much (the answer is VERY personal but I decided to share with you guys). I don't have much Angelfood, so I will have to rely on you guys to give me the things that I lack -- such as "CONCERTS PERFORMED" or "AVAILABLE ON:". You'll see what I mean. I will also take requests of songs to interpret. Thanks for reading, guys, and I hope you enjoy the page!!! I'm 14 (almost 15), from SK Canada. I have two questions. First, I figured out what Angelfood was about a week after I joined the list, but what are j-cards? I know a bit about them, but not how to make them or get them....etc... And, are any EDA's going to either the Calgary or Edmonton Lilith Fairs? I don't know how many of you live in the Bay Area or have a Rasputin's record store near you, but I bought the import CD of Morning Song remixes. It was $9.99 at rasputin's in San Lorenzo. Did any of you ever get that book that was titled something like Jewel: "An Every Day Angel" or something close to that? Just wondering because if you haven't you can order it from Barnes and Noble, e-mail me if ya need more info......that's all! I decided I'll try to help some of you. I can get copies of this CD single here in Germany, and I will send them to Lilithxxx . She will spread this single in the US. The overall cost for one single is US$ 10, including all postage etc. Neither me nor Lilithxxx will make any money out of this. I won't be able to send dozens of these singles, though, so be quick, I possibly cannot help you all. So, if you'd like to get one, send me a mail. I'll confirm your mail, and tell you the snail mail address of Lilithxxx, for you can send her the money. You'll get your copy in less than two weeks, then. If you need any other CD single from Germany, it is also possible for me to get these, just ask. For further information, etc., don't hesitate to send me a mail. Mathias. Rolling Stone and some other stuff ALOHA ANGELS! Hey, I'm not sure if this has been posted, proabably but I feel improtant when I post. :o) Anyway, Jewel is featured in the Rolling Stone with Seinfeld as The Wizard of Oz on the cover. There's this full page picture of her riding her horse, it's awesome :o) There's a little article that goes with it too, but I can't type it up because there's this storm and I have to get off the comp. in a second, sorry :o( In other news, I'm soooo psyched for the new Hole album, I'm getting the new Garbage album, and I got the new Tori Amos album, I looooove Spark, the single. It's gotten pretty much good reviews so you should prolly check it out. Oh, I think it's awesome hoe she covered Smells like Teen Spirit on the Crucify EP :O) Anyway, I LOVE that song The Way by Fastball, but I can't find the Jewel sample. Can anyone tell me whereabouts in the song it is? Speaking of non-Jewel songs, does anyone like that Iris song by the goo goo dolls? (I think?) I think it's really pretty. Oh, funny story, scary story and then I gotta go *thank God you're saying* Funny story - I was running through Sears to get to the car when Possession came on the Sears radio/mix tape thing and I had to sit and listen even though it was closing time. They had to push me out the door *L* Scary story - We were driving over the dam when YWMFM came on, and there was lightening going across the sky- like a srobe light show. I was really awe inspiring (don't ask me where that word came from :o) and then i was thinking if i die then i want to be singing Jewel and I just sang really loud. (I have this fear of getting struck by lightening, I hate storms.) Well, if you've read this far I thank you. :o) Love always~~~~~~~~* Marisa angel with a band ~ the scared of storms angel ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 May 1998 21:51:36 -0500 (EST) From: Jennifer Anderson Subject: Jewel on CD called "for the last time"? i went to that www.telecd.com to order the morning song single and i came across this other cd single called "for the last time." it says it's by jewel...does anyone know anything about it? how about this compilation that was listed, too: Lir Pulls the Plug Jewel/Dishwalla/Andreone/Amos Osborne/Dog's Eye View/Sheik are they any good? and are they OUR jewel??? ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V3 #252 ***************************
