Just a quick note here... First off, the Interview which was recently posted here was originally found in US Magazine in the August 1997 Issue. It had Will Smith on the cover with an insert cover picture of Jewel in the top right corner. It also had a couple of other larger photos inside if I remember right, but right now I can only find one from that in the mess randomness that covers the walls and ceiling of my room about everything and anyone I find interesting. I am really impressed with all of you..you all know so much about Jewel and Steve Poltz as well, and most of you are really nice people. The first time I heard Jewel was when I was 15, and I heard her song,"Who Will Save Your Soul" on MTV. I really was amazed by it..and then when I went to the mall a month later, I bought her cd. At first I didn't like it, because it was really slow, but it has been in my cd player forever since that day. I love her so much, and she's become my role model: her poetry is starkly honest and shes just unlike any artist i've ever known. Well I went to the post office to get some stamps and to make a long story short, they didn't allow me to buy return postage to send to the U.S. Didn't make any sense to me, but I ended up not being able to send out my tapes. Now, I'm asking for a Canadian EDA that would be kind and generous enough to copy Jewelstock for me.
