How are ya all? Fine here Um, I have two favorite story's. They are the "drug bust" one and the one that she tells before Tiny Love Spaces. She says that she was in a Kmart bathroom and she was washing her hair in the sink and these two blue haired people come in. It's rather funny. I like it a lot. Just my two cents. Oh yea, I like this Poll!! Your friend, Christa the Sunshine Angel ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 7 Apr 1998 21:41:41 EDT From: PENNY16161 Subject: Atlantic 50th Anniversary collection.... At Cdnow, www.cdnow.com, there is a link from the Jewel albums to all of the compilations that she is on. On that list, there was a new link to Atlantic Records 50 Years Gold Anniversary Collection. This is a double album of a bunch of the Atlantic Records singers, who, I assume, went gold. Anways, she is one there singing Who Will Save Your Soul (no word on whether it is the album version or different). Some others on it are Hootie and the Blowfish, Tori Amos, Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, etc...That's all for now. Bye. I'm sorry if I offend you guys, don't get too mad at me but this is who I am, I get pissed, and easily offended, and maybe I shouldn't call myself an angel, but I needed to say this. JK) it's the fact that girls are becoming more and more popular. I totally agree about the Spice Girls. They are giving females in music a bad name. I do enjoy their music though...go figure! I was listening to "Morning SOng" and it ocurred to me that "I'll drink my decaf herbal tea" sounded alot like "I'll drink my decaf purole tea" I know this may seem dumb, but it semed funny... Also, I was hoping some1 could do some Angelfood for me...all I have is POY. I am especially interested in "Shiva Diva Doo Wop" and "Save the Linoleum" or anything non-POY. I am in Minnesota, so I would probably find the closest dubber... but I will take any US stuff... especially SDDW, as I've had trouble finding it... Thanks in advance! {\o/} Maggie, the rambling angel /~\ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 7 Apr 1998 21:13:08 -0500 From: cubbie@brain-toys.PowerNetPlus.Com Subject: It's about time! Well i think i will tell you how i got hooked on Jewel. I was working at AMC theatres in Burbank Ca. This in 1994 or 95 i am not sure but it was a nice job until they added a 34 min. CD that played throughout the whole theatre. IT would repeat ever 35 min! on it was Who will save your soul, and some joan osborne, and Tom jones, Joshua Cadison, and sarah:) Trust me, after you hear a song over and over every 35 min. everyday for 7 months you will not only like it, but know all the words. and thats my story! buh bye now:) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Apr 1998 00:17:23 EDT From: Rolkdog Subject: Jewel story and trading offer You all know what another great story is: the one where Jewel is talking about getting the phone call from Melissa Etheridge. SHe actually does a very good impression of her. And then she went nuts that she called and played it over and over. Jewel can do some wacky voices:) Also, does anyone out there have any Sheryl Crow-food(I have no clue what else to call it). I have plenty of Angelfood to offer as a trade, I've been looking for some of hers for a while now. My list is at http:www.angelfire.com/pa/rolkdog/index.html Thanks, later.
