(In the past, VH1 scheduling was that shows were on concurrently across the time zones, meaning it would be on at midnight eastern US time , 9:00pm Pacific time etc, but I'm not 100% sure, so please check your local listings) For those of you that haven't seen it, this show is kinda kewel, as it is an hour long show of Jewel in concert in a small intimate theatre in New York City. Her mother and her father even join her separately for duets :-) One programming note, this show runs about an hour and three minutes, and VH1 is notorious for starting shows whenever they d*mn well feel like it, so it may start early, it may start late. So to be safe, if taping, you should set the VCRs to come on a few minutes early and to run until about 1:05am Eastern time. Mike :-) P.S. So if anyone wondered, yes I am still alive. In this post I would like to HIGHLY recommend Natalie Imbruglia's (pronounced im-brew-lee-a) CD, "Left Of The Middle" It was released in the US and Canada on 3/10/98, and is already released everywhere else. I just bought this CD a week ago and must say it is the the best CD I've bought since Jewel's "Pieces Of You" If you like the single "Torn" you will definitely be impressed by the rest of the CD. If you buy it and don't like it consider the hat on my head eaten. I would give this CD 5 out of 5 stars! If anyone's interested in some background info on her here it is: Full name: Natalie Jane Imbruglia Born in Sydney, Australia on February 4, 1975. She's now 23. Surf over to: http://www.imbruglia.com Final comment: GO BUY THE CD!!! --BeefJerky ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 29 Mar 1998 14:41:51 -0800 From: lil.goalie13@juno.com (Tara A Ali) Subject: a sad death dear angels, it's tara, the formerly stalked and even more screwed up than that ice angel. i don't know where to turn to now so i am posting this to all of my fellow angels. just recently, a best friend of mine, diann, left. left as in for ever and not coming back. she was in a car with 7 other friends. the driver, josh (no, not the stalker josh), was going 85 mph. they hit a pot hole and the car went airborne, flipping around 4 times. 4 people, including josh, walked away just peachy. jed and john (2 others) had to have surgery and stitches as they were not wearing seatbelts. diann flew through the window with no belt and was knocked unconscious. when the paramedics got there, she was not breathing. they flew her to a hospital. she died that night from severe head injuries and internal bleeding. angels, i love her like a sister and i don't know what to do anymore. i mean, i just talked to her before all of this. we laughed and joked and had a blast. we were thinking about spending the whole easter vacation together, driving around the state and elsewhere. now it'll never happen. i'll never see her again, never hear her voice ever again. if there is anyone who can give support, it is something that i will greatly appreciate. thank you, my angels. - -tara, the ice angel ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Mar 1998 11:00:55 EST From: JewelWN2BE Subject: In need of J-Cards!!!
