OK, this has gotten me to post my theory. Here it is, I believe that Sarah came up with the Lilith Fair to increase her popularity. Jewel came into the Lilith Fair by being asked to bring up ticket sales, but along the tour, she got into a fight with Sarah or Sarah got gelous because Jewel was still getting all of the attention and she decided to change as much as she could so she could become the focus of attention. She cut down Jewel's time that she played at the concerts, tried to eliminate her from anything related to Lilith, like performing at the Grammys, returning to another tour of Lilith and not lettering her perform in the reunion concert in Florida, limiting her time to 2 songs on the pay per view special and adding it to her own, and getting her off of the CD. Another example is that everyone else who performed in the concert has performed with Sarah and has been seen with Sarah, but Jewel. (AP) - Jewel hopes starring in Ang Lee's Civil War movie will help with her singing doldrums. The pop star told reporters Tuesday she's turning to acting because she's bored with touring and isn't afraid of the boy's club atmosphere on the movie set. ``That's the fun part,'' she laughed. ``To Live On,'' based on a Daniel Woodrell book, is about Missouri farm boys who become Confederate raiders. It follows Lee's ``Sense and Sensibility'' and ``The Ice Storm.'' The Taiwan-born director said the story made him look at America differently. ``It was more like Bosnia or Vietnam, yet it was dead center U.S.A.'' Jeffrey Wright of ``Basquiat'' co-stars.
