I decided to do it on Jewel's songs outside of POY. However, I also have to have a works cited page, where I have to list at least two web sites that I got info from. Can anyone help me by giving me some links? I need links to anything that talks about her other songs. Not about POY songs. So please help!!! Any suggestions would als be welcome. I liked Jewel a lot before then, but that hooked me. I would love to hear that performance again. This was better than anything I've seen on TV, but... TV -- I loved when she sang "Foolish Games" on MTV movie awards (?). It brought me to tears, and it even moved my hardcore brother. I dont know if this threads already been done but it's ever changing I guess- what lyrics have you totally got wrong (like when singing to yourself or something). Two of my winners are "Im Sensitive"- "I was thinking/ that it might do some good/ if we robbed the cynics/ and took all their food'- I thought she said robbed the Senate (makes sense to me) Also, 'Flower"- She's a flower that grows despite cement holes/ and she will survive"- I thought she said -a flower that grows despite (or beside?) cinnamon toast Someone asked about John Kruk from "Silver Lining" He played pro baseball for about 10 years, with the san diego padres, philadelphia philles, and chicago white sox. He was the antithesis of the modern day athlete, chubby, scruffy beard and long brown hair. He liked beer. One of his famous quotes was "I'm not an athlete, I'm a baseball player". He also lost a testicle I believe to cancer and Steve Poltz sometimes tells the story of how Kruk wore a t-shirt that said "If you don't play by my rules, I'll take my ball and go home." About 3 years ago, he got a single in a game for the white sox, called time out, and retired right in the middle of the game because he wanted to go out with a hit. His final career average I think was exactly .300. Well, as you can see this is my 2nd post(since I forgot to announce the first one) so I think I'll follow everyone else's example and tell you a little about me. I'm a teenager from the New Orleans area and got hooked on Jewel's music fairly recently(1997 MTV Video Music Awards). My collection of music on her is small in comparison to many of you, but I'm workng to change that. I wrote to ask a few things. First, does anyone know if Jewel will be coming to the New Orleans area soon? I REALLY want to see her live(as if that's anything new). And secondly, is Jewel going to be on the Lilith Tour this year? I know it's a possiblity since the movie stops filming in early April. I actually did have another thing to say but I'll just say it next time. Farewell.
